A prominent American Jewish organization is denouncing The Washington Post for posting an animated cartoon on its YouTube channel depicting Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu beating a Palestinian infant.
The caricature is aimed at apportioning blame equally between Israel and Hamas for the suffering of Gazan civilians. It was created by Ann Telnaes, one of the newspapers editorial cartoonists.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center declared its outrage over the cartoon. In a statement released to news agencies on Friday, the centers associate dean, Rabbi Abraham Cooper, said the clip was disgusting.
"It is disgusting that The Washington Post would present an animated cartoon that is so profoundly removed from the truth," said Cooper. "Millions of Israeli citizensmen, women, and childrenhave been forced into bomb shelters and saferooms by thousands of missiles and rockets targeted at them by Hamas terrorists, whose open and avowed goal is the destruction of the Jewish state."
Even Israel's enemies have recognized that Israel's military countermeasures against Hamas have included phone and text warnings as well as leaflets urging innocent civilians in Gaza to vacate the targeted areas," Cooper said. "It is the Hamas leadership that openly uses the people of Gaza to act as human shields to protect their weapons of mass destruction."

Israels Ambassador Dermer on Gaza Child Deaths: I Have No Doubt Hamas Was Celebrating ...
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3182078/posts
Israels Ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, said on Thursday he is certain that Hamas terrorists rejoiced in the deaths of four children killed on Wednesday in Gaza when the IDF targeted a nearby shipping container used in the past by Hamas security forces, according to a witness.
I have no doubt that Hamas was celebrating when these children were killed, he told CNBCs John Harwood. No one in Israel was celebrating when these children were killed.
Confronted about charges that Israel is using vastly, disproportionate force in its war against Hamas, Dermer said the Jewish state does everything possible to avoid civilian casualties but that sometimes mistakes happen.
We drop fliers, send text messages, make phone calls And even though well make the most surgical attacks possible, sometimes we get it wrong and sometimes theres a mistake and we regret the loss of any civilian lives, he said.
Imagine you would have over 200 million Americans who would be in bomb shelters and they would have a 1,000 rockets fired at them from contiguous territory, from a terror organization. Do you think the American military or the American government would use less force than Israel is using now? he added. I dont think anyone can seriously tell me that.
Heres my SHUT UP! post.
A post I made on another thread about false supporters of Israel ... to some genocidal maniacal poster ...
Anyone who is one of those faux supporters of a Israel who urges Israel to commit WAR CRIMES when Israel denies these false accusations should SHUT UP and go crawl back into that hole where they got those genocidal ideas!
Israel ambassador to U.S. Jews: Hamas winning war of public opinion
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3181017/posts
NEW YORK Ambassador Ron Dermer, Israels chief diplomatic representative in the U.S., asked some 700 American Jews on a conference call this week for their help shifting the messaging on Israel. Israel is being routinely portrayed in both conventional and social media as an angry, well-armed giant leaving many innocent victims in its wake during the current crisis with Hamas, Dermer said.
The call was organized by the Jewish Federations of North America, which this week sent federation leaders to visit targeted towns in Israel, and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs. Dermer told his audience that Hamas may be winning the war over public opinion, as Israel is vilified for the civilian casualties its bombs cause in Gaza, while Hamas is not being blamed for instructing Palestinians to stay in their homes even when they have been warned by the IDF that the locations will be bombed imminently.
Hamas is putting its missile batteries and command centers next to schools and hospitals. That is a major war crime. While we are doing everything possible to keep civilians out of harms way, Hamas is trying to put their people into harms way. Gazas interior minister said people should ignore warnings and go back into their homes. We are taking action to minimize to the greatest extent possible number of civilian casualties, they are doing everything to maximize it.
We need to make ABSOLUTELY CLEAR when we talk about and support Israel, that it is NOT engaging in a GENOCIDAL CAMPAIGN against the Palestinian civilians - but that its HAMAS who is.
We must be STRONGLY EMPHATIC that Israel does NOT COMMIT WAR CRIMES against Palestinian civilians and explain the ways that Israel goes about avoiding collateral damage, while strongly attacking Hamas and its missiles that are flying into Israel.
If you believe that Israel should commit war crimes and engage in a GENOCIDAL CAMPAIGN against Palestinians then just SHUT UP! ... because youre doing Israel no favor with your genocidal talk!
How very 1930s of them.
bump
How else should you go into a fight other than with superior force? All this criticism of Israel is ridiculous.
US Jews finally waking up over ‘Washington Post’ and liberal hatred for Jews and Israel?
If only.
US Jews voted Obama in mass.
Now they can kiss my ass.
Heres a running account of news reports related to these recent events with Israel and Hamas. If you want to catch up on the news accounts ... they are here ...

Its listed from newest to oldest, so go to the bottom to start.
It is outrageous, but over 90% of American Jews will be there for the Democrat party when it’s election time. It’s as sad as watching black Americans, the victims of so many idiotic and unhelpful Democrat policies, nonetheless doing the Democrats bidding without regard to the outcome. We can only hope that through perseverance of conservatives and self-interests both American Jews and blacks that they’ll see that the Democrats are not serving them well.
Another day, another blood libel.
A thing like this could rile people up and get someone killed.
The enemies of humanity are playing the so called “media” like an old guitar. I believe that anyone associated with the ‘media’ should be given a piss test, a psychological test and an I.Q. test BEFORE they are allowed to work in the “media”. JMO. There are way to many drooling idiots out there spreading propaganda for those who would rather kill them than look at them.
A classic. Very like the anti-Jewish cartoons published in Saudi Arabia or Nazi Germany - a guy with a Star of David armband harming/killing a cute child.
Classically, the Jew is depicted with an exceptionally ugly appearance, but in this case they get a twofer by making him look like Netanyahu - bash all Jews, and demonize the conservative to promote the future leftist candidate within Israel.
I’m pro Jew, but theses ignorant bastar%^#s keep supporting democrats. They are stupid.

Washington Post closes sale to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos
Jeff Bezos may run Amazon and he may be a billionaire, but he is very accessible to his customers with an easy-to-find email address, jeff@amazon.com. And when his customers aren’t pleased, Bezos isn’t either.
Confronted about charges that Israel is using vastly, disproportionate force in its war against Hamas, Dermer said the Jewish state does everything possible to avoid civilian casualties but that sometimes mistakes happen.
If someone chooses to attack me with a knife I could respond by drawing my own knife or using my conceal carry pistol.
If the idiot didn’t choose to attack me the idiot wouln’t get shot, “disproportionate” be damned.
The anti-israel critics are no longer hiding their anti-jew hatred.
The cartoon should be showing palis hiding behind children as they fire at Israel.
