I say, keep swinging, Akin. Instead of coming to his aid, the GOP-E dug him a grave in the same way they are trying, and failing, to dig one for McDaniel today. Claire McCaskill in no way, shape, or form is a better representative of the Founders' vision for this nation than Todd Akin. Akin is a solid, reliable, Constitutional conservative vote at a time when this nation needed another one in the Senate most. The GOP-E and Republican lemmings helped the media ensure that voter would not find a Senate seat. That is the very definition of the circular firing squad we 'claim' to detest so very much. It's a shame so many, even on this forum, are eager to pee in Akin's Wheaties. We only hurt ourselves. Keep swinging, Akin.

Akin could have stood some wise counseling but instead he just got slapped. But now it’s become an ego fight.

The tea party and Palin were against Todd Akin.
He is a vain egotist.

Akin was McCackle’s choice for an opponent.
What does that tell you ?
