The ‘blame Israel’ rhetoric from the mainstream media has shown no signs of slowing down. This time, on the July 15 edition of CNN’s New Day, host Chris Cuomo and CNN contributor Peter Beinart decried the unevenness of the war, citing high casualties on the Palestinian side while pointing to virtually nonexistent casualties on the Israeli side of the conflict.
Cuomo naturally led off his interview of Beinart with this statement: “Proportionality is a big part of this story always when there's conflict. Israel obviously has the advantage militarily...Now, on the other side from the Ministry of Health there, close to 200 deaths, 1,400 injured, many women, children, civilians, schools supposedly damaged. It takes us to the issue of proportionality. How does that play here?” [MP3 audio here; video below]

Its a good thing the USA used a proportionate response against Japan and German...otherwise think of how bad it could have turned out...(such stupidity)

Yes, no fair that Israel has GPS-guided precision bombing and Hamas just has blind scuds... this is VERY unproportional.
Therefore, Israel from now on should launch its retaliatory missiles with GPS turned off. Just point in the general direction of Gaza to make sure it gets over the border (wouldn’t want a blind Israeli missile to hit an Israeli power station, now, would we...).
Then Israel would be retaliating proportionally to the Palies... (oh, and they would no longer be giving out pre-warnings, as that would be disproportionate too)
They’re just taking sides in a war, but pretending to be pacifists, because their side is less competent. “Proportionality” should mean doing what it takes to win, and not much more than that.

Why do i have this feeling that if Hamas were to hit Tel Aviv and cause some serious damage and lots of death, a-hole Cumo wouldn’t bring up proportionality - in fact he would say the Jews had it coming.
Chris Cuomo is expressing the same liberal Democratic, pro-terrorist thinking that kept Bill Clinton from eliminating the al-Qaeda threat following the numerous al-Qaeda-created incidents of his presidency, from the first World Trade Center bombing to the destruction of U.S. African embassies, and so on.
This ‘’proportionality’’ — we were so much stronger than al-Qaeda at the time — resulted in al-Qaeda’s second World Trade Center attacks, killing 3,000 of Chris Cuomo’s fellow New Yorkers.
And now Middle Eastern and North African terrorism, allowed to run rampant because Bill Clinton refused to kill it in its infancy, is being perpetrated by growing numbers of Islamic terrorist organizations, including Hamas, which is terrorizing Israel in its effort to destroy that country.
And Chris Cuomo wants Israel to stop fighting against Hamas because it’s so...so...disproportionate of them.
Now we know why MSNBC’s anemically rated ‘’Morning Joe’’ managed to trounce CNN’s virtually dead ‘’New Day’’ starring Chris Cuomo, 368,000 to 273,000 in total viewers during this year’s first quarter.
Had I been President, I would have read on TV the declaration of war straight from the Koran and then overrun the entire Middle East from Pakistan and Libya to Saudi Arabia and erased every trace of Islam.
We would have sunk a few German cargo ships with some subs.....and then went home.
I wonder if those blue hats would look like blueberries floating in the Mediterranean...
