Confused? You should be.
North Korea, of course, didn’t even participate in the World Cup.
That didn’t stop a video from being created showing celebratory images of North Korean footballers and scenes from Brazil.
Shame on them, but I’ve changed my view of this rot, more and more.
Now I simply think to myself, “We’re not as bad —YET.”
But just think about how much money they saved by not having to send an actual team!
The propaganda in Nork is truly one for the ages. My guess is that many in North Korea believe winning the World Cup is true. The others? Well...they pretend that they believe it is true.

North Korea lying to its people about winning the World Cup isn’t much different than the President of the US telling us we can keep our doctors and health care plans or creating a fantasy of some mob enraged by an Internet video causing the death of four Americans. Kim Jung-un ‘s fantasy life is only a little less credible than what we know about Obama’s past. Much of the US media slavishly reports what they are told by the White House little different than the state controlled media in North Korea.
