How can Israel have peace if its unwilling to delineate a border, end the occupation? asks White House Mideast chief, Phillip Gordon, in a blistering Tel Aviv speech.
Israels ongoing occupation of the West Bank is wrong and leads to regional instability and dehumanization of Palestinians, a top American government official said Tuesday in Tel Aviv, hinting that the current Israeli government is not committed to peace.
In an unusually harsh major foreign policy address, Philip Gordon, a special assistant to US President Barack Obama and the White House coordinator for the Middle East, appealed to Israeli and Palestinian leaders to make the compromises needed to reach a permanent peace agreement. Jerusalem should not take for granted the opportunity to negotiate such a treaty with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who has proven to be a reliable partner, Gordon said.

Delivering the keynote address at the Haaretz newspapers Israel Conference on Peace, Gordon reiterated Obamas position that a final-status agreement should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed land swaps

If the Palestinians were more than sub-human savages, they could live in peace beside the Israelis.
Another Obama surrender-monkey. He must raise them on a farm so that he can appoint them to his staff.
Unfortunately, I think both sides are happy to stage the occasional dustup in order to gain a few minutes on the evening news.
I’m not saying Israel wants to be attacked but even minor clashes with rock-throwing cretins seems to have a pipeline to the lead story on the BBC or US cable news. Very handy for reminding the various western democracies to keep their foreign aid budgets nice and fat.
I hate to say it, but I'm leaning towards that. Call me a nazi or other, but Israel has tried for so long to deal with arabs/muslims. All Israel gets in return is rockets raining down on good people who just want to live in peace. I don't get why anyone or any organization or any country would support the so-called palestinians.
The biggest mistake Israel made in recent years was to give the Gaza strip to the palis, who immediately destroyed the Israeli infra-structure left behind...just because it was built by Jews.
They are a barbaric and stupid people and no, they don't live in camps. They actually have towns, as ghetto as they may be. They have had their opportunities to better themselves, but prefer to just hate and kill Jews and whine to the world, while cutting their heads in some barbaric ritual. Palestinians are at the bottom of the human gene pool. I have always despised them and wish them just gone.
I hate the man. I gave him one day to see if he would turn towards center after his political rhetoric. I regret doing such.
You cannot be more wrong.
Israel should demand his removal, and if he’s not removed, he should have a little accident, perhaps choking on a piece of non-halal food in a restaurant.
