Perhaps a few senators and congressmen will be named.
That is our only chance something will happen.
If it was one of us, it don't mean a thing.

If Greenwald successfully documents that the NSA has taken the leap toward surveiling people for their political views, he will reveal that establishment flunkies for NSA surveillance are liars, and perhaps create the kind of synergy that spawned the Church and Pike Committees that reined in warrantless political surveillance by the FBI and CIA in the 1950s and 1960s. Given how Greenwald is gay and works for the Guardian, I wouldn't expect to learn that the NSA was monitoring conservatives.

I’m sure it’s covered if anything happens to him. In fact, by announcing this he probably just gave himself some protection.
What bothers me about it is all the people authorized the release of their names. I want to know who the NSA spied on that do not want their names made public. For instance say, John Boner and John Roberts.

hope his car doesn’t decide to take control and zoom him into a phone pole - mysteriously exploding into a massive fire bomb a millisecond before it actually hits the pole.

Even ignoring this, a Republican would have been hounded out of office for just some of what Snowden has alleged.
