The Jerusalem-based Temple Institute has taken on the goal of rebuilding the Third Jewish Temple, regarded by Jews and Christians as a precursor to the coming of the Messiah.
The plan is guaranteed to provoke world conflict, since the Islamic Dome of the Rock now sits on the presumed Temple site.
And while the preparations seem to be lining up, a major obstacle remains the absence of a red heifer, required in the biblical book of Numbers, Chapter 19, for the purification that is essential before worship.
Until now, according to the institute.
The organization posted a video this month showing what appears to be a perfect red heifer that is being raised at an unidentified location in the United States.
In truth, the fate of the entire world depends on the red heifer, the institute says.
For G-d has ordained that its ashes alone are the single missing ingredient for the reinstatement of biblical purity and thereafter, the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.
The Temple Institute says purification with the red heifer reminds us that man has the potential to rise above his transitory physical existence, with all its false sense of hopelessness and misery the impurity of death.
This is the role of the Third Temple for all mankind, and this is the Messianic vision of the future: the call to live an eternal life, liberated from the sham and unhappiness which is the sum total of the human condition for so many people. The call for the true joy of living life to the fullest with the knowledge of G-d, the institute says.
The divine ordinance of the heifer, beyond the grasp of mans frail intellect, with all the details of its preparation and ceremony, calls out to Israel and to all

I believe there is living rock outside the dome.

We had red cows all over the place growing up on the farm...
Why do people think Red Cows are so danged rare?
AMEN!
I just don’t think anything in the Bible foresaw America, it did see the Young Lion, England, in ?Daniel?
Of course you could say the US was in the future of the Young Lion.
Why do people think Red Cows are so danged rare?
You didn't grow up in Oklahoma by chance did you? Red cows, red people, red skins. What difference at this point does it make? (In the words of Hillary.)
And Limousin and Charolais French cattle are reddish.
I don’t get the red heifer thing either. I don’t think it means anything. He wants us to pray not sacrifice animals.
Red cows have been around for centuries. There are breeds of cows that are entirely red.
This article is about as overdramatic as it would be if they’d said “A black bull is running through a field in Wisconsin. It’s the end of the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
OMG. Chocolate milk all over my phone. Thanks a lot.
ROTFLMAO
It takes several weeks to determine that there are not more than two non red (black) hairs on the heifer.
End-of-the-world, Armageddon fans read the Old Testament to predict that the appearance of a flawless red calf will presage the final days.
I suppose if someone manages to come up with one, don’t buy any green bananas because (at least by their lights) we’re all doomed.
Bam-bam has wrapped things so badly around the axle in the ME, who knows? Maybe they’re right.
How does ISIS/ISIL fit in here?
Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. You're probably right, there's nothing "Biblical" here to see. Move along.
Obviously, devout Jews of the world just didn't know that we had "red" cattle just everywhere, for years right here in America. Red cows, red meat, red blood. I guess it really doesn't matter that Biblical prophecy almost seems to be being fulfilled daily as we read the world news.
So don't worry about the Caliphate, the Mahdi (12th Imam), the 3rd Jewish Temple, what happens after we die, is this all there is? Hey, all religions are the same anyway, right. Well, maybe Islam is a little more peaceful than most. /sarc.
Why we even have our very own "Messiah" to take care of us, and we have the promise of his "hope and change."

A flawless red heifer is a necessity for Jews who want to rebuild the Jerusalem Temple. You can read about their efforts here:

I don't know, other than ISIS are just your average "devout" Muslims seeking worldwide domination and the ultimate destruction of Israel and Jews everywhere.
Muslims own the Dome of the Rock Mosques, their 3rd holiest sight, and at this time still where the Bible in Revelation indicates they will rebuild the Temple and resume animal sacrifices.
Of course, the Jews don't believe in Jesus and therefore the book of Revelation. So it's just a coincidence, I guess. /sarc.
And rename every religiously named city in America. Which I guess is what they’d do, would thou coulds’t.
A few years ago where I live we had a white buffalo born on a local farm. It did not change colors as they often do, I was talking to the grandson of the former owner who told me so a few weeks ago.
Indians from all over the country showed up to perform various rituals. They, as I understand it, think that the birth of a pure white buffalo forecasts great change in the way we live and think. Supposedly we are on the cusp of a new age.
In a way it ties into the red calf as a sign of great change. Seems to me that a great number of Biblical prophecies are being fulfilled in our days. One that I have taken great interest in is that the sea and earth shall give up their secrets, that is being fulfilled each day with the new tech now in use. Take a look at Biblical Archeology and what is being found. Also the underwater archeology now finding cities and ancient ship wrecks that the Bible mentions. On land the Bible is being used as a map with great results. In this way at least, it is a great time to be alive, though it is also the worst.
Lotsa red dirt, too.
