BREAKING: Desperate Dems Fear “All-But-Certain” Impeachment if GOP Takes Senate
Conservative Tribune ^ | June 27 2014 | Conservative Tribune

Years ago, impeaching President Obama would’ve seemed like an impossibility, but with scandals and corruption leaking out of every nook and cranny of the White House, the likelihood of accomplishing such a Herculean feat has dramatically increased.

Hot off the heels of a disastrous negotiation with terrorists, an Iraqi crisis, and several congressional investigations into the VA scandal, IRS targeting, and Benghazi cover up, the movement calling for Obama’s impeachment has gone mainstream.

House Republicans claim the votes are there to move forward on impeachment, and to further prove the seriousness of all the fervor, Speaker Boehner is set to file a lawsuit against the president.

All of this has liberal Democrats very, very nervous.

A recent email blast sent out by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee says that if Republicans win the Senate, impeachment is “all-but-certain.”

Here’s the DLCC email:

Washington Post: “President Obama will be impeached” Add Your Name: Stop the Tea Party impeachment

Just days after Republicans in Congress claimed they “probably” have the votes to impeach President Obama in the House, theWashington Post reports that impeachment is “all-but-certain” if Republicans win this fall’s elections.

The ONLY reason Republicans are pursuing impeachment is because they don’t like that President Obama defeated them in the last election. We CANNOT let this stand.

We need you to speak out now to stop the Tea Party’s impeachment agenda – please add your name today!

A growing list of top Republicans are lining up to support impeachment, and some right-wing legislators are already taking steps to make it a reality.

Tea Partiers in Congress are giving speeches calling impeachment “a dream come true,” and the official Republican Party Convention in South Dakota actually PASSED a resolution demanding that the President be thrown out of office!

This has already gone way too far: Speak out now to STOP the Tea Party impeachment!

Sincerely,

Kevin Boyd Regional Strategist Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee

This is good news. Liberals should absolutely be terrified of the possibility that Obama could be given a pink slip. If he falls, so does their agenda. The removal of the president spells the end of their attempts to “fundamentally transform America,” and buys some time for America to start down the path to recovery.

Americans must continue to bombard their representatives and demand they stay the course and make sure the president is brought to justice.

Please share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that the Democrats have every reason to fear the impeachment of Barack Obama.

The House impeaches.

The Senate removes (with 2/3 majority vote).

The House could easily impeach now with the rep majority they have.

The Senate has a dem majority so they won't ever vote to remove.

Clinton was impeached by the House but the Senate did not remove.

Getting impeached does not take away any presidential powers, just puts a blot on the historical record.

If the Senate votes to remove, then we have something.

Two presidents have been impeached before, none were ever removed by the Senate.

Maybe that will change. . . .one can dream. . .

Before you can do that the Senate needs to vote to remove.

He can be impeached by the House but that doesn’t affect anything the Big Zero has done.

Once voted out/removed by the Senate, THEN you can do all that you talk about. . if you have enough votes. . .

Agree that this is mainly rhetoric to inflame the low information voter - after all why would anyone ever find fault with this President unless it wasn’t simply because they didn’t like him or losing an election to him. Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with absolute dereliction of duty and taking actions that have repeatedly been found unconstitutional by a Supreme Court including votes against him by his own appointees.

The R’s may not have enough votes in the Senate to convict, but the House could still impeach. And while the current lawsuit approach should proceed to whatever conclusion is ultimately reached, the House should go forward with articles of impeachment based on many of the tyrannical actions this President has taken. While it appears the analogous defense to Clinton’s crimes as “just lying about sex” will be “they just hate him because he won the election” and “they’re racists” - a full trial on the merits laying out all his crimes and going piece by piece - a few days of trial on each so the full extent of his acts can be aired - will show the constitutional crisis we are truly facing. Can a dozen or more D’s be won over? Huge hurdle - but at some point they are going to find him not worth defending, simply a lame-duck president with no ability to pass any legislation. They’ll take Biden with the wacky hope they can turn him into a contender for 2016.

Seriously?

I haven’t really weighed in on this one as it’s just too Quixotic. But PLEASE tell me how on EARTH the GOP taking the Senate changes the math? On what planet in what reality do we get 67 Senators? (Putting aside the merits of impeachment)

Time is routinely wasted on this kind of thing. ODimwit may be fiddling while America burns but there are sure a lot of “conservatives” in the orchestra with him.

“Will be impeached by racists” is the implication.

Good post. I will add that Impeachment would serve as a crash course on Constitution 101 for a great number of our fellow Americans.

Than alone makes it worth doing.

Desperate Dems are trying yet another meme to see if this one will take hold. The “war on women” failed. The minimum wage failed. This will fail too.

That will be the cudgel that Harry Reid will wield in the Senate campaigns this fall to get the Black vote out, much as Haley Barbour did in MS when he said the Blacks needed to vote for Cochran to keep their food stamps.

Blacks, being a very gullible group of voters, will turn out to defend the first half-Black president, even though they are in much worse shape now than when George Bush was President.

This is why the Nazis and Commies in the ‘RAT party are going to “double down” on voter fraud in November.

Don’t fear, they would need 67. They will be lucky to get 51.

Thank The Lord that Clinton was not run out of office. Al Gore, as an incumbent, would have won the 2000 election.

Takes more than a simple majority in the senate to remove an impeached president. The DLC is having trouble raising the money that they think they need. Waving the “impeachment threat” is designed to open donors’ wallets.
