In other words, McConnell browbeat his RINO colleagues into spending money if not sweat on Cochran. Did they burn most/all of their powder up on that race to leave McConnell exposed?

Look, I have no love for Mitch, but this "poll" proves nothing. KY should have got rid of the guy in the primary, however...

If the TPubbies stay irate, the GOP might see a repeat of 2012 and fail to get the Senate again.
Another session with Reid as Majority Leader or ‘vote for the same and expect a different result’? Which is the lesser of 2 evils there?

I hope that McConnell's scorched earth strategy ends up burning him in the end.
He may get the candidates that he wanted, but he won't be there himself to enjoy the fruits of his betrayals of the base.

What are these tax loops on millionaires? Short of starting your own foundation where you give yourself lots of free perks and bennies, I just don’t know of any tax loops. And a million dollars is not enough to start a non profit foundation of any significance. Especially since most folks are going to spend their first two or three million making their own lives more comfortable - paying a landscaper, private school for the kids, nice cars, etc.
Public Policy Polling (PPP) is a left-wing Democrat outfit and skew all their polls favorably toward left-wing Democrats. Therefore, they have no credibility and I put no stock in their polling results.
To see long standing uhh sitting elderly eGOP senators turned out for younger lib folks.. Oh the horror of it all.. for all of us.
