much safer then Rahm Emanuel's Chicago, and in Al Capone's Chicago you could buy a Thompson submachine gun for $225 by mail order.
The inquiring mind might wonder -- maybe Chicago's sky-high murder rate doesn't have anything to do with the guns?

Under the gun to satisfy a federal judge, the City Council unanimously agreed Wednesday to allow gun shops, but keep them out of most neighborhoods and require them to videotape every sale to prevent straw purchases. I'm pretty sure they've been doing that since at least the 70's. Your move, Rahmrade.
