Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday
McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, Ive given money Ive done everything theyve asked me to do and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me we feel betrayed.
Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I dont think I could do it.
McDaniel: I prayed about it last night my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.
Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like youve been betrayed.
McDaniel: Sean, I was I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends I dont understand!
But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry
I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad, Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.
As does Rand
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochrans efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.
Im for more people voting, not less people voting, Paul told reporters Wednesday.
I called the RNSC early on Wednesday morning, talked finally to a guy named Evan. Asked him what he thought about MS race and he was jubilant and proud. I asked him why the lowdown scummy, Dem type tactics were used against a fellow Pubbie and he was silent. Finally he asked what it was that I wanted? Geeeeeeesh. I said you just don't GET it, do you. We are furious that you don't oppose Zippy and the Dems but you are ferocious against conservatives. I said Cochran probably was a good man for years, wanted to retire, GOP didn't want that, so drug him across the line, damaging an excellent man in McDaniels. Please call, folks, keep calling. Good idea to call Cochran's office and ask him to quit honorably. Never give up, though. Never give in.
I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad, Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin.I'm disappointed in Cruz's attitude about this.
That "thin margin" was there because of illegal voting, fraud, and the GOP sabotaging and betraying McDaniel.
The GOP continues to use democrats to illegally help them to foist upon the citizens a out-of-the loop good ol' boy big spender who has no plans to slow down spending and stop the unconstitutional growing of big government as well as preserving our Constitutional Republic.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochrans efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.Gotcha Rand, you approve the GOP encouraging fraud and of the democrats deciding who runs for office from the GOP.
Im for more people voting, not less people voting, Paul told reporters Wednesday.
Even if it's against the rules in that state?
Rand Paul is throwing the Tea Party Movement under the bus in favor of massive voter fraud against the board.
Good to know where he stands.
Maybe he can be elected President with the help of illegal non-citizens voters and the democrats. Dreamer.
Yep can be independent candidates with proper filings.
You may want to check out the filing date.
I'm for less people voting, too. I believe one needs to be a property owner to vote, as in tho old days.
I’m hearing mixed signals about Mississippi election rules, some say that MS does not allow write-in ballots, nor a statewide recount.
Is that true?
If it is true, it might explain why conservatives, like Cruz, conceded the race so immediately, deeming it near hopeless, unless grounds for a challenge could reasonably hope to cough up over 6000 illicit votes out of just the one county thought to be suspect.
What do you think?
I think a challenge might produce enough invalid votes to help Chris. I say that because I can’t see all these non-voters showing up at the polls yet they could not have voted in the Dem primary and vote in the runoff.
Also, double absentee ballots make me think they just ran with the old voter fraud tricks. Their race campaign didn’t start til late so that doesn’t account for the increase.
Unless those votes were for Chris (broken-glass). Does anyone know how that panned out?
It will stand as a modern illustration of a Pyrric Victory. There is no way in hell Thad is going to win in the general. Does he really think that people who he called racists are going to vote for him?
Here are a couple of interesting graphics showing various voting numbers primary/runoff.

I agree. Also, it’s true that local conditions may have influenced this (somebody said that Southerners are very leftwing economically, and I have noticed this to be the case). However, I think it’s pretty undeniable that the black Dem vote was what put him over the top, and since 35,000 of his votes came from black Dem districts that had never voted GOP before, it’s true that he wuz robbed.
But he and everybody else has got to move beyond that and work at correcting the election laws (NO open primaries) and at trying to pressure whoever is the GOP senator or rep to at least toe the line and stay within the limits of the GOP positions as announced. Of course, then it’s possible to work on making those positions more conservative.
But this is all a long-term commitment, and just getting mad and leaving is about the worst possible thing a candidate or even a voter could do. It just hands it all over to the Dems, and leaves conservatives with no leverage at all, even in the GOP.
It’s too late for McDaniel to file as an independent.
Lesson learned: We need a 3rd party and the RINO party needs to go the way of the Whigs.
The ads i heard sounded like democrat get out the vote ads. One in fact spoke about how McDaniel would “get in obama’s way This is klan democrat tactics, being used by paid consultants to “get” a result. McDaniel has a great career, if he can trust the existing party to not crap on him. And... never forget..McDaniel was for repeal of obamaumaocare, Cochran is for the chamber of commerce BS “go along get along” weak GOPe status quo.
The democrats will run Childers who took over the 1st district seat that was held by Trent Lott (yet another “converted” democrat...not). Childers owns a nursing home with an alzheimer’s unit... the trash about Cochran will stem from that. Barbour is PART of this machinery as an opportunist first class.
Deadlines have passed.
Click the links a couple post up and look at the charts, etc on the voting patterns.
His version of unthinking libertarianism also leads him naturally towards open borders.
Interesting call. Sounds like they are proud of their scummy tactics.
Existence of Malpractice cases does not mean that doctors are not smart.
I read that MS is validating the ballots now. I’m confused as to whether that is a normal post election state procedure, or the direct result of McDaniel’s complaint.
I sure hope he challenges the election results! It’s very important not to roll over after an election is stolen by dirty tricks and slander.
We need to know how close this election outcome really was, regardless if we should fall short of overturning it.
At least she was polite, but we don't know whether he will even get our messages.
