The Obama administration’s claim to have been surprised by the wave of children flooding over out borders may turn out to be another political lie of the year. Sundance of Conservative Treehouse noticed a very peculiar advertisement:
On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“.
Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000.
• Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border in June, when they were taking bids for an exact contract to handle the exact situation in January?
• Secondly, how could they possibly anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most ever encountered in a previous year was 5,000 total ?

Is the 65,000 figure for one year or 5? I’m no expert on reading contracts and it seems vague as to the time period involved, and both are mentioned. If it’s 65,000 over 5 years, that probably wouldn’t be all that different from what we’ve been (unfortunately) doing for years.
I wonder if the outfit that won the contract is advertising in Central America to reap a harvest from economies of scale. Is the contractor paid per juvenile/day? or is it in fact a no-bid deal? The posting doesn’t seem to indicate.
Interesting that the Contract (in Part D) focuses especially on Texas. As if a pilot program would begin in Texas and then be expanded. Isn’t that the pattern we have seen play out?

Rub their faces in the diaper pies the BP is dealing with to get their attention.
It is curious isn’t it? Amazing also that FOX can’t seem to lay its hands on this January plan for orchestrated INVASION.
DRUDGE hasn’t picked it up either. This news changes the whole ballgame, laying this disaster at Obama’s door step.

Fox News as far as monitoring events it seems goes home at 5:00 pm Friday till early Monday morning. Never expect after hour breaking news from FOX. Each time it looks like they had to call someone in to report breaking news even the janitor could have announced and gotten the word out early.

It’s one year with four possible one-year extensions. it’s also IDIQ, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, so exact schedule and quantity is unknown now, they determine that at the time of need. 65,000 is the maximum number a contractor needs to prepare for.
OK, this is a RFI for the transport, housing, and care of the illegal alien kids. That’s at OUR end.
We need to learn how the kids are recruited, how they are initially equipped, and who takes them through Mexico to our border stations.
We just learned that the USA has already laid plans for what happens when they arrive.
Who laid and carried out the plans to move little kids through Mexico?
Where is the outrage? Where is the news coverage? Even on FR there are only 100 posts and this has been out there for hours. Is this so outrageous that we don’t know how to respond?
