HOUSTON, TexasState Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perrys (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, It is going to happen.
Riddle spoke with Governor Perrys office about the issue and was assured it is going to be coming soon. She said Governor Perrys office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhursts office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.
They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away, Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.
Riddle said, We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houstons role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations. She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.
Riddle said, Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem. She went on to say, I didnt expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

Okay, I could be wrong.
This is where the rubber meets the road for Perry, so we’ll find out soon enough if he’s serious or not.
I hope I do. I will GLADLY give him ALL THE CREDIT I can if he does his constitutional duty.
But it does not erase his past actions that helped get us here.
I will be surprised if Perry does little more than talk.
Prepared to be disappointed by Perry.
Theatrics is correct.
We need leaders with a Warrior mindset -- those who will truly throw down the gauntlet.
You REALLY want to make me dig up the post a couple months back where you admitted I was right? To me personally?
Yes you. Because it shocked me to the point I told lots of people youd done it. So please dont try denying it because we both know you did.

Dig away Norm. The take away from my agreement with you, was that I would never vote for another RINO.
In 2012, I, like many others, had to deal with reality. Reality in 2012 was, we had a Marxist who had done great damage to our nation and way of life, and was seeking a 2nd presidential term to finish the job. So, do I vote for the RINO...where at least we have a chance to save the nation, or do I vote for a Marxist who had a track record of destruction, and promises of more? For me, the answer was easy; the RINO over the Marxist. Like many, Romney was my last choice, but being an adult, I had to deal with reality.
At least I tried to remove a Marxist Norm. My conscience is clear. You, and others like you did nothing!
The damage has been done; we will NOT recover from this. The cancer of collectivism and Marxism are metastasizing faster than any of us could’ve ever imagines.
“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
Right you are. But we are to believe, apparently, that the man who gave financial aid and instate tuition to ILLEGAL aliens is that Warrior.
You admitted it. your ‘takeaway’ matters not a bit. What you said does. Since you admitted the conversation happened, save me the trouble ad admit the apology that went with it.
But you do get points for attempted deflection with the rest of the post.Except the excuse bit.
If the four border states put their national guard on their borders our border with Mexico would be sealed. The governors of California, Arizona (under Napolitano), New Mexico and Texas have been playing games for years looking the other way as hoards of illegals invade our country.
Obama will need a new pair of panties if Perry does the right thing.
You can meet their “act of love” with an act of terminal ballistics.
Thank heavens! Good news at last. That’s a very long border...I hope it works.
Right.
Exactly. I know politicians enough to know most of them are very weak on true Liberty.
Unless some true miracle has opened Perry's mind to the truth, I fully expect him to just bluster and spew meaningless platitudes.
Perry will try and position himself as tough, but it will be empty words not bold action.
Great news! The heat is on ;-)
Keep the calls/faxes/emails/tweets/petitions coming, folks!!
Obama will need a fresh pair of panties.
And thus we have the topic of this thread. :-)
I WANT Perry to do it right. I do. I just do not believe he will. He has a proven record on the border. It is a lot of words and a lot of support for illegals. that is not me bitching. It is his documented history.
If he does this right I will be thrilled. But I and all of us have plenty of reason to be doubtful, to put it mildly. And more than enough reason to mock him for empty threats as he has made as many as Barry.
The Governor is feeling it — finally the heat is getting to him.
If he has any balls, the militia.
