On Wednesday, during a tense exchange lasting more than seven minutes, Gross asked Clinton 10 different ways about the evolution of her stance on gay marriage. But, unlike some recent TV interviews Clinton has given, the takeaway was not Gross's pointed inquiries, but the fact that they seemed to get under Clinton's skin, who snapped back at her interlocutor.
"You know, I really, I have to say, I think you're being very persistent, but you are playing with my words and playing with what is such an important issue," Clinton said after trying to put the issue to rest several times.
Gross, attempting to smooth tension with a chuckle, replied, "I'm just trying to clarify so I can understand ... "
But Clinton fired back, "No, I don't think you are trying to clarify. I think you're trying to say that I used to be opposed, and now I'm in favor, and I did it for political reasons, and that's just flat wrong. So let me just state what I feel like you are implying and repudiate it."
The moment was over soon after that, and the interview moved onto friendlier territory for another 30 minutes, but America Rising, the GOP opposition research group, had already clipped the audio and blasted it out online, eclipsing anything else Clinton had to say.

Hillary has a very dominating and nasty disposition
We’re gonna need a lot of popcorn to endure the full Hillary campaign implosion - at least there will finally be something good to watch!
I'm beginning to think she won't get very far this time. Too old and too beatchy.
Terry did a segment called “Fresh Air”. Stopped listening years ago, but this sounds like a must listen.
"Really?"
It was Gross’s fault for being a journalist. She never met one before and was unprepared.
Terry Gross of course is as liberal as they come, but she is smart as all get-out.
Dominate. Intimidate. Control.
If the Dem operative party at the Far left propaganda website says it bad.It was bad If the crazies at the Commie National Journal cant spin it then its over.
Terry is extremely popular as an interviewer and this is going to cost Hillary big-time.
Here's the audio of that interview...Youtube
Soon, single-payer health care will allow her to reply to every criticism and investigation with a nasty (if she wants to look tough) or calm (if she wants to look statesmanlike) retort: “it’s politicizing”.
Her campaign will be so scripted I wouldn’t be surprised if the video shots of the audience were holograms in an empty auditorium..
When Terri Gross is not on politics, she is actually an excellent interviewer. She asks honest questions intelligently, often the questions the listener already has in her head. She just doesn’t come with a hard list of questions, she directs the natural flow of the interview without jarring the interviewee. In this way she is the anti-Diane Rehm. (And frankly, the anti-Sean Hannity)
Normally, when she does political interviews with conservatives, her pattern changes, and she willfully “misunderstands” the conservative, and will not cross-examine the liberal, while maintaining a veneer of even-handedness.
Twice I have heard her completely undone. The first was when she interviewed the hostesses of BBC’s “What Not to Wear”, and her guests turned the tables, asking her why she doesn’t wear skirts. By the time they were through with her, they were asking her why she was afraif of her own femininity (no coherent answer).
The second time (which was a repeat, meaning that Miss Gross was in SERIOUS denial in how the show would be perceived. Gene Simmons of KISS, was grotesquely obscene with her, saying things that a real woman would have slapped him for, and any decent man would have punched him in the nose before literally kicking him out. They didn’t/wouldn’t realize that this is what the condescending valuees-clarification NPR approach inevitably devolves into.
Her show is now the BEST THING on drive time NYC radio (on Sirius, it’s actually the re-run of the previous day’s show as I learned from this Hillary intereview.) And no, I didn’t listen to Hillary I have enough BS in my life. But I’m very happy at how badly she is coming off, even in these friendly venues.
And the book is cr*p, there seems to be no dispute about that from any corner.
Hillary doesn’t give one whit about America, the people who populate the country(that would be Americans) or about a future that does not include her as president.
She is also Gay!
