Feinstein is livid. Kerry thinks it's wonderful and explains that in 2 years, they would have been released anyways.
John McCain says if everyone knew everything, it would have never happened. Also, notes the sunset on the right to fight (which is the law under which we hold captives) was just extended a few days before the release.
McCain was going to close GITMO on Day 1 of his presidency and move the terrorists to Leavenworth where liberal FED judges could eventually have field days releasing them.

The Bergdahl-Taliban 'exchange' does raise a serious question:
When the Afghan/Iraq Wars ended, what did the FED/politicians/military plan to do with those Islamists still being detained at GITMO and elsewhere?
It would seem that there would be only 3 options:
execute, imprison for live, release.
