Obama’s trade for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl now joins the infamous list of “Worst Trades in History.”
In the sports world there have been many legendary bad trades. Julius Irving. Kobe Bryant. Nolan Ryan. Hershel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings for an entire team of players and draft picks that led to three Super Bowl victories for the Dallas Cowboys.
But the worst sports trade ever was the Red Sox selling Babe Ruth to the Yankees. The Red Sox didn’t win another title for 86 years. The Yankees became the greatest American sports franchise in history. They won 7 World Championships with Babe Ruth.
It was called, “The Curse of the Bambino.”
But in the real world there was one trade that topped them all, when American Indians were conned into selling Manhattan for $24 of trinkets in 1626.
That was the worst trade in history. Until now.
Obama takes the cake. Obama just traded an entire team of Islamic mass murderers and America-haters for one tragically confused (or perhaps mentally ill) deserter and traitor. Not just any mass murderers, but buddies of Osama bin Laden.
Folks, that's a really bad trade. It just doesn't get any worse than that.
What did we get in return? A traitor who purposely walked away from his base searching for enemy to surrender to.
Whose search and rescue cost the lives of as many as 14 heroes (his military brothers).
Who may have converted to Islam and taught bomb making skills to the Taliban.
Whose father welcomed him home at a White House ceremony in Arabic. It is rumored the father converted to Islam.
That’s who we traded five mass murderers for? That’s what Obama broke the law for?
This story just doesn't smell right. Something is very wrong.
Keep in mind those five sworn enemies of American mass murderers all…haven’t even gotten back on the battlefield. Yet. But when they do, remember they were set free by our own President, to rain hell down on our American hero soldiers. Remember they were set free by our own President to plot a new 9-11 that could kill thousands or even hundreds of thousands of Americans (think dirty bomb).
The world is shocked. Our allies are horrified. America’s enemies are laughing and high-fiving. Our military is demoralized. Our economy is in free fall. Our dignity and legacy is in tatters. Our reputation across the globe is shattered. One man has destroyed the once great America.
Why did Obama break the law to trade for one deserter? Why would he risk all hell breaking loose for one traitor who cost the lives of six military heroes? Two reasons:
First Obama was desperate to get the VA scandal out of the headlines. He had to change the topic away from neglect and fraud causing the death and suicide of American military vets under his leadership. How better to change the subject and erase the scandal involving abuse, neglect and even murder of military vets than by appearing to be a Commander in Chief rescuing an American military POW. Obama had delusions of grandeur- overnight going from bum to hero.
Second, my sources in military command positions tell me that the CIA reported to Obama that Bergdahl was about to go on global television to denounce America, call our military evil...and do it all in Arabic. Obama would have been humiliated. His narrative of being such a big victor over Al Queda and the Taliban would have been destroyed….in front of the whole world…live on global television.
So here was the perfect way to kill two birds with one stone. But it all backfired as word spread of the betrayal by this American soldier…the deaths of his military brothers caused by his desertion…and the lies of Obama to cover up this outrage. Obama said not to worry about the five released terrorists- "we'll keep eyes on them." Hours later Qatar officials reported they are free to go anywhere in Qatar. And in one year, they are free to return to the battle field. Is Obama naive…a terrible negotiator…reckless…or complicit in a plan against America? You decide.
Forget the humiliation of selling Manhattan for $24. Forget “the Curse of the Bambino.” Forget all the humiliating trades in history. This one takes the cake. This is the “Curse of Barack Hussein Obama.”
The question is…is this the final straw? Has the American public awakened? Is this finally the offense that leads to impeachment? Or does Obama get to spend another two years on the attack against America- weakening our military, destroying our international credibility, killing jobs, and wiping out small business and the middle class with high taxes, onerous regulations, Obamacare premium increases and EPA intervention that raises electric rates past our ability to pay our bills.
The question is…
Who will stop Obama and save what's left of America?

I am on hold for nearly 45 minutes now waiting for someone, hopefully sentient, to answer the phone at the VA.
It has been two weeks since a second, duplicative CT Scan to ascertain what was diagnosed 18 months earlier, I have an inguinal hernia that the VA will not correct. I was told over two weeks ago that the results of my scan would be briefed to me. Crickets chirping....
I need surgery, can’t get it. I am unemployed, no worries.
24 years of service, I should wait over 24 months for a needed procedure. Why not? You get what you pay for right?
Oh, wait a minute, I paid for these “services” for 24 years. Maybe I have mistakenly accepted lowest of low expectations.

Yep. There was a large group of conservatives (including me) who sat out the Romney-Obama campaign on the grounds that Romney was not all that different from Obama. After all, Romney was just an Obama-lite.
Well, they (and I) were wrong. No way would Romney have made that prisoner swap. No way would Romney have imposed regulations meant to cripple the coal industry. The list goes on and on.
Will conservatives make the same mistake in 2016? Yes. The GOP will nominate some lightweight, due to conservative vote-splitting in the primaries. Then many conservatives will stay home in protest. Get used to President Hillary.
