Ok, here's a thread for tonight. I live in MA so I don't know when the polls close.
All the votes are in kiddies! Looks like Bob Hall won a super squeaker!
Bob Deuell REP 9,504 50.16% 17,930 49.58%
Bob Hall REP 9,442 49.83% 18,230 50.41%
Race Total 18,946 36,160
Precincts Reported 234 of 234 100.00%
Thanks for the tip on that book as it might give me some insight as to just what neefs to be done.
Plonk.

You also have two sign up names here.
You sound too cute by half.
Do you realize how most good people think of you when you brag about going to DU, or anywhere, and lying and manipulating and how easy it is for you?
Tonight you are trying to sell the pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-Reagan, anti-conservative, anti-gun, Romneycare, pro-gay Scout leaders, draft avoiding, pro-choice ad running, failed one term governor, and one time democrat and Planned Parenthood fund raiser and 1992 democrat voter, Mitt Romney to us.
You forget the sleeper RINO waiting to pounce on us in January: George P.!
Where all the results for all of the races in Texas?
I knew Bob would win, he had it in the bag
:)
I usually sign up immediately rather than lurk for a while when I encounter a forum I like. Iirc I signed up immediately. I tend to be a bit aggressive in that regard.
Sounds like it belongs at DU.
Your wordd, not mine. I said no such things.
Oh for Pete’s sake. You’ve never been accused of havibg a sense of humor, have you?
If we are truly serious about crippling the Dems, the answer, initially, is not about going to Washington DC. It happens at the state level. We need to start with 3 things:
1. Voter ID and total voter reform. Find the holes in every step in the chain and fix them. Including closed GOP primaries and caucuses. Stop the fraud, Dems lose.
2. Crush the public unions. Particularly, stop state collection of union dues. Limit collective bargaining. Dry up the Dem ATM machine, Dems lose.
3. Tighten up welfare. Pick the toughest state welfare rules, emulate them. Require drug testing, require work or community service to receive welfare, stop the fraud. Get rid of the constituency, Dems lose.
As far as within the party, speaking as both a county and district officer in the GOP, we need to take a big picture attitude. Look at the party as a two-way contract, and let that be the test for all elected GOP officials. If I’m supposed to support the party by holding my nose to elect RINO’s, then the same better advance the party 100% or the Democrat is allowed to defeat them. We pick up that seat somewhere else.
Guys like McConnell want to share power with Dems when he is the leader, then he needs to go. Susan Collins votes with the caucus, or she gets the boot. We make up that seat somewhere else and try and get it back later.
We had Jim Leach here in Iowa. He kept getting more and more liberal, voting against the caucus, speaking against the party. The GOP withheld their vote and he lost to uber-Liberal Dave Loebsack, who is still our congressman today. Sucks, but we have the House again and at least I know what I got with Loebsack and can work to defeat him.
Keep electing conservatives to seats, drive the RINO’s out of leadership and defeat them. When you have the majority drive the legislation.
You are saying that you didn’t make these posts?

I sometimes log into DU and portraying myself as an extremely old Democrat I spout conservative talking points. Just boilerplate and it really gets them excited until I remind them that I am extremely old. Hahahaha.
They are so easily manipulated.....

Your naivete tells me you’re on your first, maybe second election ever, entirely missing the message here, regardless of your experience.
As JRFreeper repeatedly reminds you guys— we are not you. We are not Republicans, but conservatives.
You’re hitting a wall, frat guy, obviously.
Oh, wait. It’s the obvious that alludes you.

YAHOO!!! TWO RINOs in one night! A sitting LT. Governor and a sitting state senator!
But the TEA party is dead you know!
These RINO shill/Plants just refuse yo see the obvious ...in many things. Primarily that conservatives see RINO rule as equally or even more damaging long term than Dem rule.
And we see it that way because it provably IS that way. Which is why Hamilton said so long ago, better to have an enemy in their camp than yours. But as usual, modern RINOs know better about how to run America than the actual people that created America.
For the RINOs out there, let me state it clearly. We would rather watch the current fiasco collapse ASAP than elect you to enrich yourselves an additional couple years before it collapses anyway. It’s called hardball. You get on board with our way, or you hit the highway. Dems hate you, most of the Indys hate you and NO ONE trusts you.
You created this mess, not Democrats. Dems are what they are. As Republicans, you were supposed to be the opposition to that. Instead, you parsed their actions to your benefit. you abandoned the ideals of the founders to empower and enrich yourselves at your country’s expense. That is something worse than obama because at least he is marginally honest about who and what he wants. No one believes anything you claim to want as you do the opposite daily. See GOP Platform vs. GOP actions in reality.
If you want more RINOs elected, we are content to let the whole thing burn and rebuild it later. Because you have ensured that now or later, burn it will. And when we DO rebuild it after you finish destroying the country that some of us still love, I assure you will have no power in whatever rebuilding occurs.

I saw that the democratic sponsored push poll has Wench Wendy down by 15%
15 freakin percent. Word has it that the dims have relegated her to full sacrificial under-bus duty.
