Thats not nearly enough. You have to figure out how to turn that into election wins. Conservatives have been terrible on that score. Democrats have walked all over so called great Conservatives who couldnt win an election to the sewer commission.
You still don't understand. Your brand of leftist thinking that has wholly infested the Republican Party is in the process of being rejected by Constitutional conservatives at this forum. To the Pit with your political expediency and smirks. I reject your same ol' smarmy kind of politics which are disappearing from this Nation. Give your advice elsewhere.

I am a tea partier. I am a precinct chairman for the Republican party. I am one of those who vote on the platform.
If you want change insert yourself into the. Political machine and make that happen. I am doing so.
If you refuse to do that you are just another self-important blowhard.

But why are you still shilling for Romney?

I've worked hard on the ground and on the phones to get change. I've worked 4 years to get Dewhurst out of politics completely.
I am NOT a Republican. I'm a conservative.

Because he wanted me to vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, socialized medicine, big government liberal republican candidate and he's mad I didn't...

Look it up. It is well documented by statisticians.

With your posting, it’s hard to know whether you are being serious are not about believing that.

No, YOU look it up and spend time twisting the numbers into pretzels that YOU enjoy. Then present YOUR case.
NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR ROMNEY -- ever.
To: Resettozero
I am not shilling for Romney or for McCain. I am simply pointing out that if you fail to win the majority you have no chance of doing anything which will move the conservative agenda to the forefront. You have bupkis.
All you have then is 2 or 4 or 6 years of screeds decrying the lack of purity in the Republican party. Nothing more than parlor games.
Get involved and change things from the bottom up. The Repubkican party has the most trouble filling precinct chairmanships. That is a good place to to start. Precinct chairmen vote on the party platform and they can make a huge difference.

You mentioned that before and ignored the posted reply. Are you one of those that can help me become a god somewhere and take sister wives? If not, you're sure playing their hymn!
To: buffaloguy
If I keep helping to politically destroy liberal republican candidates, conservative candidates will move to the forefront. If running as a liberal republican is the political kiss of death, then the GOP dies or gets conservative.
You establishment types scream purist, but your candidates don't even match the platform, unless the GOP platform now contains abortion on demand as a plank.
That's not being a purist. That's just not accepting a liberal.

To: Resettozero
Your’s is the only reply to my statement.
If the precinct chairmanship in your precinct is vacant you may ask your county Republican organization to appoint you to that position. Many chairmanships have been vacant for years and need someone to take charge.
It isn’t like inheriting a planet. It looks more like hard work.
So...stop with the parlor games, get into the system and start moving things around until they look like conservative values.
To: buffaloguy
One last question and I hope for your answer. Why did you sign-up at this conservative website in 2011?
To: buffaloguy
Thanks for your non-vote. You are part of the problem. Do you have some choice words for me too? I participated in Operation Chaos in 2008 and voted for Hillary in the Texas Two-step primary! AND I was elected as a Clinton delegate.

The system can be changed from outside of the system, obviously. It will be changed from the outside, when you can't get conservatives to vote for your liberal candidates anymore.
