Oh, I wish something like this could happen in Berkley.

Probably not as bad as we think because it is a cohesive blob. A big straw and sand will take care of it.

50,000 gallons?? Hmmm...Is that some kind of guess?? Or is the government just setting someone up for a huge fine??

Line broke near a strip club! I know there is something funny in there, but it’s to early for me to think of it.

Better than girl mud wrestling??

This was an above ground pipe. No one noticed?? Seems like an exaggerated amount.

Yeh....we can all see that coming. They ignore the derailments.

It probably is exaggerated. Where are the pictures? Like the mud wrestling idea, but you men might want to find out if the “girls” are really girls. Never know these days.

Just the facts, maam..

No, these companies have to report to EPA within a very short window an estimate for RCRA reporting of the estimated spill. Kind of a check box estimate and looking at flow rates and time to secure the line.

Number could go up or down.

Only in California.........pipe “ruptures” at 12:15 AM (note time).same pipe has been running for years without a problem. Suddenly in a big time liberal area, said pipe “ruptures” on its own right where it would/could do the most damage and get the most attention.

IMO, that was NO ACCIDENT.

Note, the use of gallons, not barrels.

If it is heavy crude, just spread it over the road like tar and fill in the pot holes.

The rail cars that I deal with at my job are about 22,000 gallon capacity.

That assumes that they are filled to the top of the hatch.
