Cat Saves Boy' From Dog Attack In Bakersfield
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
“That weiner dog ...”
Weiner dog my ass.
That was a pit bull doing what pit bulls were bred for.
LOL..., now that’s a great shot.
Can’t stop laughing...
And THIS is why kitties should be allowed to roam free. QED.
Next up....When wiener dogs attack...and now the weather...
Or, one could use a very humane, soft rubber, Italian made, basket muzzle on an aggressive dog. We’ve had to do that in the past and it’s worked quite well. And the dog (at least in our case), became accustomed to it very quickly and would even come immediately when summoned to “put on your muzzle.”
We were about to put our aggressive dog down when the vet suggested this type of muzzle. Also, we found that simply wearing the muzzle made him far less aggressive.
good kitty
No, liberals will mull this over and see vast opportunities for boatloads of Cat regulation! First up is to Register your Cat or the SWAT team will come calling to arrest you and shoot the cat!
Next up, yank them claws out, they are a dangerous and concealed weapon!
Do we know for sure the dog wasn’t a stray? It didn’t have a collar and it looked like it’s ribs were showing.
I may have seen it at the time, but I don’t remember it now.
That all changed one day when playing in the garden, I found myself confronted by a Fer de Lance emerging from the flower bed. "Micky" immediately placed himself between me and that snake. He killed it, and ate it. Thereafter, he became my bodyguard, traveling everywhere with me. He would advance my arrival into any room of the house, and quickly search under the furniture and in darkened corners for scorpions, which there were always a constant threat. Any found were quickly dispatched and eaten. After he had swept the area, he would return to my side.
My parents grew quite fond of him, and thereafter permitted him to sleep on my bed with me each night, serving as my guardian. Unlike most feral Tom cats, he was content to spent his nights with me, adopting the human day/night cycle. After all, there would be tuna fish sandwiches for breakfast.
Belonged to a neighbor...
Stories like that make me want to adopt a cat in my pre-old age. But however much you think your cat loves you, it will still eat you when you’re dead if no one discovers it until after the mortgage is well overdue.
Had it been my dad's dog, it would have already been bagged and sent for autopsy........
Dad was a Shepherd owner who properly trained his dogs. He vowed that if any had ever indiscriminately bit a child or adult he would put it down. He actually did that to our last beloved german Shepherd prior to a July 4 weekend gathering of our family at the northern Michigan cottage.
Zarek was old, suffering from hip displasia, and dad was afraid that one of the grandchildren would pat him on his hind quarters and Zarek might turn and bite them............
It was the worst July 4 weekend of our lives.......
It's weird, some dogs are just dogs, some cats are just cats but some dogs and cats have such distinct personalities that they are actually members of the family and will never be forgotten.
It's not fair that we have to be responsible for determining when they need to be put down...........
Cats are ruthless solitary predators when it comes down to it. Dogs are pack animals.
LOL! Yup, but cats are tidy that way. They won’t let you just lay around stinking up the place. And, it’s far better than being buried in the kitty litter.
Not YOUR problem..........
There was another cat/bear video I saw somewhere in which the cat chased a bear from the back yard.
What a fantastic cat, this video is sure to go viral.
