Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday his wife Hillary took six months to recover from a 2012 concussion, adding she is now "stronger than I am" as he dismissed GOP strategist Karl Rove's comments about her health.
"I got to give him credit, you know, that embodies that old saying that 'consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds,'" Bill Clinton said at a Washington conference. "First they said she faked her concussion. And now they say she's auditioning for a part on 'The Walking Dead.'"
The former secretary of state fell ill with a stomach bug in December 2012 after returning from a trip to Europe, leaving her severely dehydrated. While at home, she fainted and fell, suffering a concussion. The illness forced her to reschedule her testimony to Congress about the deadly attack months earlier in Benghazi, Libya.
The New York Post reported Tuesday that Rove suggested at a private conference near Los Angeles last week that Clinton suffered brain damage. Rove disputed that he was referring to any brain damage.
"I didn't say she had brain damage. I said she had a serious health episode," he said on Fox News.

Well, considering his “favorite non-political activity,” and the location of the veins removed to repair his heart, you might be concerned about his health. He just isn’t getting the “exercise” that he’s used to.
She might want to put some ice on that.
Karl, it is "A foolish consistency . . . " In this case it is not foolish because too many Americans buy whatever Clinton says.

She’s a liberal so she started out with brain damage. I believe she was waiting to see what would shake out before she testified on Benghazi. In this case Rove may be a useful idiot. When the hearings get started up again, Hillary using health issues not to testify will raise a huge red flag. Also memory failure like she used in the White Water probe would be used against her.

... Sill have a suspicion that this whole thing may be a build up to a possible upcoming request for testimony on the Benghazi incident. She may conveniently no longer be able to recall what happened on and led up to the Sept 11th 2012 attack.
