In light of leaked emails regarding the 2012 Benghazi attack, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and Fox News White House correspondent Ed Henry went head-to-head during Thursdays press briefing. At one point, the press secretary took a jab at the reporter and his employer. After Henry questioned Carney over why the Ben Rhodes-authored emails focused on an anti-Islamic video rather than the terrorism aspect of the deadly siege, the press secretary remarked that the CIA-produced talking points at the time referred to protests at the Benghazi consulate as being inspired by similar demonstrations outside the American embassy in Cairo. What inspired

"The memo pertained to the whole Mideast picture. Right?"
or
"The CIA provided the talking points. Right?"
Now I'm no speech analyst, but these interjections seem to me to be ways to get the listener to agree with him on a specific issue believing that the listener will be more prone to agree on other issues.
Right?
Right?
Typical sales ploy. He’s been coached.
It’s called “an assumptive close”
I apologize to all. I am the one that is dumbed down, apparently.
BernardMarx in post #28 gives a satisfactory and convincing argument, which I find hard to disagree with.
Not only have I learned something new today, but I learned something old.
LOL. Thanks for the comeback.
What I remember from that night....there were some intriguing tweets from locals telling journos on the ground saying that the Amb was killed by his AQ puppets.
And one of the dead Americans was a “gamer” he was on that forum and said their local security “were acting strange”.
My guess would be that the Kenyan is collaborating with our Islamic enemies.
Great post.
If anyone ever deserved a trip behind the barn, it’s Carney.
Butt faced it is then. LOL!
Yep.........
Agreed!! HA!!
The protests and attack in Cairo were not about that stupid 'video.'
Brian Lilley: The MSM is lying about the muslim riots
Interviews on the streets of Cairo. 'Video' had nothing to do with protests and attack.
"Blame it on the Video" was a Fraud for the Cairo Rioting, Too

In addition to that there were four versions of Nakoula's movie.
Only the final one was forwarded, by persons unknown, to Sheikh Khalid Abdullah the cleric in Cairo who aired it on TV. Nakoula, the maker of the original film, was not the one who uploaded the final version, Innocence of Muslims, to the internet.
You can hear some interesting things about the timeline of all these iterations of "the movie" in the Youtube video linked below. Start at 9:30 and watch to 16:00 for the meat of that.
I’d just love to slap the crap out of him in hopes it might make me feel better for just a minute or two.
Why, didn’t he shave?
INTERESTING POST AT ACE OF SPADES:
Take a map of the Eastern Hemisphere and a compass.
Put the point in Rome and the pencil on Benghazi.
Now draw a circle.
Now put the point on Inalcik, Turkey. Put the pencil on Benghazi.
Now draw a circle.
Now put the point on Rammstein, Germany. Put the pencil on Benghazi.
Now draw a circle.
Fill in the circles with a colored pencil.
This is NATO’s next-day zone.
If you believe this President. NATO cannot interfere with gunmen on foot attacking anywhere in that colored zone, within the same day as the attack. And, that’s just OK with his State Department, his Defense Department, his National Security Council, and his Joint Chiefs of Staff.
THAT is why we are still talking about this.

Never heard of it before. Doing some basic searches, but here must be some security wonks on FR that can give us details if this is true.
