Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas signaled on Saturday that he remains committed to troubled U.S.-backed peace talks, saying that any unity government agreed with the militant group Hamas would recognize Israel.
Abbas’s comments appeared aimed at soothing U.S. concerns about the unity deal he reached on Wednesday with Hamas, an Islamist faction sworn to Israel’s destruction and designated by the West as a terrorist organization. […]

Hamas does not recognize Israel so how can any unity government agreed with Hamas recognize Israel? Or did I just read that wrong?
We know where Barak Hussein stands on this, though. His former church printed editorials from Hamas leaders in their bulletins. He also indirectly gave Hamas almost a billion dollars through the U.N.
Per Islam, It’s called a “Hudna”, which is explained that you make a false peace with your enemy until you grow strong enough to over take him. To me that is what is going on here. Sure hope that Israel doesn’t fall for it. Because without a doubt, our government will fall for it.

That’s like saying I will “recognize” the Sun. Israel exists, and should LAUGH at such a declaration, and give it NO weight whatsoever in “negotiations”.
It’s almost the same trick that the Muslim Brotherhood played with Mubarak’s government in Egypt; leave the organization and become an “independent”. Hamas will be in the “unity” government of course, represented by unaffiliated-in-name “technocrats” (bureaucrats).

As an American taxpayer who is sick and tired of subsidizing all these murderous terrorist thugs in the name of Islam, I say we force Abbas to return the last several billion dollars Obama and Company gave him... and then dispatch him to Allah for his just rewards.

Israel will NEVER fall for it. As for our “government”, I understand someone in the State Department has exchanged tweets with the palestinian authority and has been assured thereby that the jihadis will honor the existence of Israel... :))
