A new poll shows that only 15 percent of Americans want former Florida Governor Jeb Bush to run for president.

The latest YouGov/Economist poll shows that 47 percent indicated that they did not want Bush to run. Thirty-eight percent indicated that they were not sure.

The poll also shows that both Bush and former Governor Chris Christie get a 49 percent favorability rating among those that identified themselves as Republicans.

Christie, however, is disliked by 37 percent of Republicans, which is a higher unfavorable rating than Jeb Bush - who got 25 percent.

Forty-two percent of respondents who identified themselves as conservatives gave favorable ratings to Christie while 44 percent rated him unfavorably.

For Bush, 38 percent of conservatives rated him unfavorably compared to 33 who thought otherwise.

I think that number is inflated by about 80%, there just aren’t that many people in the GOP leadership.

“A new poll shows that only 15 percent of Americans want former Florida Governor Jeb Bush to run for president.”

The same was probably true for McCain, Dole, Romney and
Bush 1. A sure sign he will probably get the nomination.
The only person who could loose.

I keep hearing GOP pundits claiming that Jeb is their best hope in 2016 and I think WTH?! If that’s their best hope then their chances are down the crapper. If they put him up then I’m ready for a third candidate and may the chips fall.

GOP: Don’t listen to them! Jeb’s the only chance we’ve got! You must vote for him or it’ll be Hillary in 2016! Really! We promise!

95% of those encouraging him are Democrats who don’t want him to win in the end.

Since when did electability stand in the way of the elitist Progressive Republican establishment wing of the Democratic Party? See examples of Dole, McCain, and Romney. Yes sir. Those Bob Shrum trained RePukelicans consultants just pick winner after winner. Wonder what the name of the chimpanzee is that gets to throw the dart at the list of non conservative Constitutionalists?

FoxNews seems to be pushing for Bush to be in the race.

[Any co-inky-dink that FoxNews employs Rove as a commentator?]

This morning, Hemmer was discussing Bush with Monica Crowley and Doug Shoen.

Had to chuckle ... Shoen said Bush would be a good choice —
