Our temps are still like a yoyo. Snow is all gone, still mud because of April rain. The Lakes are still half covered with ice.

It's going well, thanks! Still very fatigued from the weekend sojourn to NJ - if we had our druthers we would have stayed overnight, but could not. Five hundred miles is more than I care to drive in a day. Not like in my youth! :)

Yes...we must always remember them.
Good evening, Luv. Any rain? It is starting to look like it here, but the weather dude didn’t say anything about any rain. I hope he’s wrong.

My nephew is an F-16 crew chief in Misawa. I’m going to send him a link to tonight’s thread to see if he recognizes the guy in the photo on the Orion.

Our neighborhood corner got our drains thawed! Woohoo! The lake is gone!
I’ll be sweeping gutters this weekend as the snow has finally melted back far enough.

Misawa is the only combined, joint service installation in the western Pacific. It houses three U.S. military services (Army, Navy, and Air Force), as well as the Japan Self-Defense Forces. The base is home to 5,200 US military personnel, as well as 350 US civilian employees and 900 Japanese national employees. Is your nephew Air Force?
That would be so cool if he recognized the guy.

The street sweepers are just starting out on the main drags, and office parking lots are starting to clean up all the winter gravel.
