Tensions between states rights supporters and the federal government remain high after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) retreated last week at the Bundy Ranch after a tense standoff with hundreds of supporters, many of whom were armed.
The Bundy Ranch situation has escalated little over the course of 20 years, but finally, the BLM stepped too far when they claimed dominion over thousands of acres of land in Nevada and began seizing Cliven Bundys cattle. The response by patriots throughout the country was swift and awe-inspiring as citizens flocked to the middle of nowhere to support the rancher, including TPNN.
It seems, however, that the BLM has not received the message. In fact, the BLM has intended to seize roughly 90,000 acres that belongs to Texas along the Oklahoma/Texas border.
As one could imagine, that has not set well with officials in the Lone Star State.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, who is also running for governor of the great state, has pushed back against the federal government, even warning them with the famous quote that adorns countless flags at Tea Party rallies: Come and Take it!
I am about ready to go to the Red River and raise a Come and Take It flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas, Abbott recently commented.
In a strongly-worded letter to BLM Director Neil Kornze, Abbott pulled no punches in demanding to know what authority granted them the right to seize Texas land...

The federal government has simply gotten too large and too intrusive. Worse yet, the manner in which they conduct themselves in defense of their asserted authority can only be characterized as militant, a scary notion for a republic built upon the premise of individual and states rights."

The Regime’s overstepping on this may turn the bluish western and mountain states red (thinking NM and CO, in particular).
greta has the story tonight
My feeling is that increasingly CO isn’t red or blue or purple, it’s green. It’s still divided into pickup-truck CO and Subaru CO, but every year the greens grow in number.
Good for Greg Abbott
Maybe the plan is to so agitate conservatives with the overreach that there will be shots fired.
Voila
Martial law.
The Dems avoid losing 2014, and 0bama stays in the WH.
Maybe Reid and the militarized agencies are doing Jarrett/0bama’s bidding.
Texas already has this in her history:

Not sure the feds have enough bodies for the attrition.
The story is a play on the Waco tragedy except with a Texas governor who has a pair and who sends in the Guard to act against out of control Feds. And they act with extreme prejudice.
It's a cathartic read and I recommend it highly especially at a time like this.
They don’t.
Not by (if you’ll pardon the expression) a long shot.
