This story comes to us courtesy of The Right Scoop. (Which makes sense since I dont watch any of the cable news evening lineup and havent seen Chris Hayes on the small screen in ages.) While people gathered at Cliven Bundys ranch in protest of the BLMs handling of affairs there, the protesters were joined by Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore. This prompted MSNBC host Hayes to interview her, and the Scoop captures the video for us.
Lets just say that Fiore wasnt about to have the conversation steered to any Left side talking points.
(VIDEO-AT-LINK)
Hayes tries his very best to repeatedly get Fiore to agree that Bundy is a criminal of one sort or another and goes the extra mile in slyly trying to get the Assemblywoman to say she agrees with Bundy that the federal government has no authority. Shes having none of it, and drives the conversation back to a few key points like a jackhammer.
- Why is the federal government sending men with guns to collect a debt, assuming one is owed?
- How much, if anything does Bundy actually owe? Liberals have been throwing around the figure of A MILLION DOLLARS for some time now, but then backed off to possibly only being a couple hundred thousand.
- Why is Harry Reid so heavily involved when something definitely looks suspicious about that?
Its a pretty great interview, so take a look.
I actually saw this when it happened. (Note: I was watching PMSNBC purely for entertainment reasons.) She held her own quite well and did not allow Hayes to re-define the issue. Hayes has one point and one point only upon which he felt he could hold the upper hand. And Fiore did not bite. I wish every Republican could be that smart.
- Why is Harry Reid so heavily involved when something definitely looks suspicious about that?
Harry owes the chinese and he can’t deliver with this rancher. Killing the rancher will make things go away.
Harry doesn’t have a lot of time.
And Hayes is just shocked that he's not winning the argument.
She handled that well.
Watched the interview and was quite impressed with this lady.
She represents Clark county in the state legislature. It looks odd to MSNBC when a legislator comes out and represents their constituents. Where were you, Senator Reid?
Reid would bring a drone, a squadron of bombers, a mortar squad, a flamethrower team, a dozen tanks and a battalion of infantry if he visited.
wouldn’t you love the hear someone call out the hypocrisy of the criminal liberal media to their face in one of these interviews and ask why, when warren buffet’s company has owed $1billion in back taxes since 2002, has the obama administration not tried to seize any of his assets?
or why the obama administration continues to harbor a criminal in george soros who’s been found guilty of financial crimes in france and hungry??
Wow! She really did toast that little PJ Boy.
That prissy pajama boy ass clown got his ass handed to him...
I was really impressed that she has been there for six days standing with her people...
He doesn’t have a lot of time because he looks like he could croak at any minute. Let’s hope.
That interviewer looks like a snot-nosed fudge-packing wimp.
Probably because those all apply, I suppose.
Snot-nosed, even?
- Is everyone on MSNBC a homo?
Republicans need to start being aggressive like this; and throw in a few charges of racism, too. The Libs have been doing it for decades, you’d think the Repubs would have learned how to fight by now.
Let’s see...Metrosexual progressive television interviewer versus Republican Nevada Assembly Woman; who will prevail? It was no contest—I suspect Chris’ likely already small penis shrunk even more as he was repeatedly bested by the Assemblywoman. She did us proud.
PMSNBC wussy boy getting all huffy puffy because she got counterpointed and pwnd.
Chris Hayes was desperately trying to manufacture a “gotcha” statement from Michele Fiore. This was not journalism and Chris Hayes didn’t care about the truth or about the larger picture. But Chris Hayes does seem to be quite conversant with the Harry Reid big government talking points.
