Air Force Captain Nicolas Aquino was tackled and handcuffed in his own home after police received a call from a neighbor of a suspected burglary. Aquino told the officer that he was the homeowner and even showed identification when the officer first approached him; the policeman finally left after Aquino showed him bills with his name and address.
However, that wasnt the end of it. Months later, Aquino learned that the police station had issued a warrant for him, claiming that he resisted arrest and obstructed an officer.
Aquino, a model airman who has been featured in Air Force promotional material, maintains that he committed no crime, but the District Attorney has refused to drop the charges. Now, his education and career are in jeopardy as he fights against the arrest.

He seems to be an unimaginative functionary. This case needs some alert attention.
The cops probably think Aquino has a good case to sue the
crap out of them so they have to make a move to discredit
him first. Of course the fuzz didn’t take into account
that the media would get a hold of this.
Dumb Cop Dumb Cop
What ya gona do
What ya gona do With your low IQ.
LOL!
Sounds like CYA for police assaulting the man in his own home and false arrest.
Too bad he wasn’t an illegal.
The police now expect complete obeisance from the citizenry. Do anything except meekly kowtow to their increasingly insane demands and they will bring the full force of their power against you as an object lesson to the rest of us “riff raff”.
Had Enough Yet ?
This seems to be the sentiment of more and more of us folks from the right these days.
It has been a rallying cry on the far left for quite some time. But for different reasons.
The left of today will seemingly support Police action for the protection of the State, while on the right, we tend to oppose this type of action.
We support the Police in their efforts to "enforce" the law, the left seems to oppose this.
I know these are broad and general statements, however I think it is important to look at these differing views.
From my perspective, it comes down to the question of Sovereignty.
Those on the left tend to side with the state, while we side with individual sovereignty. They see their rights being granted by the State, while we see our rights being granted by our Creator.
The left embraces the state while we try to limit and even reject it.
It is incomprehensible for those on the left to even consider anything other than being ruled by the state and therefore Man.
"By the People"
They don't get it. They are afraid of it. They think since the government is run by "People", our government is "By the People".
In turn, they seem willing to side with the government.
I see a huge turning point in which law enforcement, that was once the political domain of the right, becoming a tool for the left.
I know somebody who was on a grand jury. They met once a month, and had a marathon session....case after case after case paraded in front of him. Mind numbing.
And the vast majority (as in all but 2 or 3) were approved...most of the time the prosecutor doesn’t go to the grand jury, unless he really has a case. So I can see how it would be hard to weed out the occasional bad case.
On another note, he said they got two types of cases:
- Guns and Drugs
or
- Drugs and Guns
Yep.
I am beginning to wonder if there is ever a time when the cops don't act stupidly.
Cops are simply revenue collectors.
Okay got it.
The police screwed up and handled the situation poorly. After leaving and filing a report at the station a supervising officer realized they screwed up and to preempt any complaint by the homeowner decided to file some charges. Seen this done before......
I see a huge turning point in which law enforcement, that was once the political domain of the right, becoming a tool for the left.

We already crossed that bridge, I do believe.
Bingo.
this is bs.
cops are becoming thugs with badges, all over. they screw up they crucify you.
if it’s an illegal arrest which it was, and they screwed up, they aren’t protected by sovereign immunity and the guy can defend himself.
but i doubt he even did resist or obstruct.
they can toss this out every time and he-said cop-said in court goes to the cops. liar cops win.
I am beginning to wonder if there is ever a time when the cops don’t act stupidly.

Most of the time. It is simply not reported. The JBT incidents are sure picking up though.
As much as I dislike the Obungler, he may possibly have been right when he said the cops acted stupidly.
