Jews in one Ukrainian city were sent notes “indicating that they have to identify themselves as Jews,” U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday.
“In the year 2014, after all of the miles traveled and all of the journey of history, this is not just intolerable, it’s grotesque,” Kerry said. “It is beyond unacceptable. And any of the people who engage in these kinds of activities — from whatever party or whatever ideology or whatever place they crawl out of — there is no place for that.”

Also, members of the Russian Orthodox church in Ukraine were recently threatened that they would be attacked in the coming days by members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Kerry said.
This all sounds like a disinformation campaign. Remember that the Russians likened the new Ukrainian regime to the Nazis and noted the anti-semitism of one of the Ukrainian parties.
It starts with registration.
Instead of blaming Germans or Russians (who abetted the Germans), you blame Jewish collaborators and Ukrainians who were basically trying to stay alive despite German extermination orders. Is this because you enjoy your ultimate driving machine whereas Ukrainians are just a bunch of dirty Slavs?
Not that the Jews aren’t frequently targeted by morons and evil people, but there is so much false flag propagandizing going on in the Ukrainian/Russian cauldron, that I do have to wonder if one side is “inventing facts” to discredit the other side and stir the pot.
But the Russian side has used the specter of anti-Semitism in a cynical manner since anti-government protests began in Kiev that resulted in the ousting of Ukraine's pro-Russian former president Viktor Yanukovych. Russia and its allies in Ukraine issued multiple stories about the the threat posed to Jews by Ukraine's new pro-Western government in Kiev, Salberg said.
Those stories were based in part on ultra-nationalists who joined the Maidan protests, and the inclusion of the ultra-nationalist Svoboda party in Ukraine's new interim government. But the threat turned out to be false, he said.

Ukrainian PR stinks. That's why Ukraine has only been an independent nation for 20 years. The better the disinformation, the better the odds that it originated from Russia. After all, they convinced some of the world that the CIA invented AIDS to kill black people.

They are about 80 years too late. We registered in 1934 after the Nuremberg laws were passed.
However, Stalin had a thing about Jews, specifically in 1953, so maybe the Soviet agents in the Ukraine are just catching up on paperwork.

A Daily Beast Reporter went to where the fliers said to register. On Talking Points memo, and The Daily Beast I found:
..the fliers that bore Pushilin’s signature called him the “people’s governor,” a moniker he told the Ukrainian press he does not use to refer to himself. The fliers were also met with skepticism beyond the separatist leader’s public disavowal.
The U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, told CNN’s Jake Tapper that the leaflets were likely distributed by radicals.....
And when Anna Nemtsova, a reporter for the Daily Beast went to the administration office where the fliers instructed Jews to go pay the registration fee on Thursday, she found the room was empty.
The fliers “could have been the work of provocateurs hoping to discredit the pro-Russian movement” in Ukraine, according to the Daily Beast.

Is it really better to trust Russia, the country that (1) has Lenin's Tomb in a place of honor in Moscow equivalent to the Lincoln Memorial, (2) has monuments to Lenin all over Russia and (3) views the removal of Lenin monuments in Ukraine as the act of Nazis?
