Harry Reid on Bundy Ranch Showdown: 'It's not Over'; Rory Reid says Bundy should be Prosecuted

Following remarks Senate Majority leader Harry Reid made at the University of Nevada, Reno on Monday, the Nevada Democrat told Reno's KRNV TV his thoughts on the cattle controversy in Gold Butte. "Well, it's not over. We can't have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it's not over," Reid said.
There is no question that there were a lot of things going on down there with breaking the law," Reid said. "And that is not over yet. We can't let that continue. So I'm sure it is not the end of it."
Reid was confronted earlier at UNR during the Q & A time after Reid's speech about the cattle issue by Kim Kollman a former teacher at Truckee Meadows Community College, The Reno Gazette Journal reported:
Citing Reuters News Service, the Drudge Report and another website, Kollman asked Reid if he was in collusion with his son and the "Communist Chinese" to forcibly remove Bundy from his property to help bring more solar energy to Southern Nevada. Kollman said Reid was "papering over" the question of possible collusion.
Reid replied, "That is an easy question to paper over. Do you know what you just said? Please read something else. And that is how I'm going to respond to that question."
The crowd applauded Reid. Kollman then asked Reid, "What are you afraid of, sir?" before Kollman was asked by an organizer to sit down, which he did.

Reid was critical of BLM's inability to conduct a successful operation in Bunkersville saying, "The BLM shouldnt have started this if they couldnt develop a plan to finish it successfully.

One thing I hate about environmentalist is how they are hellbent upon destroying other peoples livelihood. They cant deal with the fact that the earth is filled with humans. If theses people cant deal with that they should remove themselves from the earth instead of trying to remove others.

Whatever else comes out of this, Reid needs to go. I cannot imagine how he keeps being elected when it is obvious how corrupt he is. The other one that needs to go is the Clark County Commissioner that said if people were going to support the Bundys they better have funeral plans. This sort of craziness from politicians who claim they are doing “public service” is just over the top.

Many people feel that ranchers and farmers are insignificant. The fact that they produce food seems to escape these people.
Many think laws written years ago to support agriculture; grazing leases, water rights priorities, etc. are some sort of welfare program and do not realize our ancestors understood that people who fed us needed to be supported. Many think the payouts to farmers regarding crops grown or not grown are wrong as well, most of that came about due to government regulations putting farmers and ranchers out of business.
Anyone that makes a living from agriculture, especially in the West can tell you for certain how scary it is to hear “we are from the government and we are here to help you” since they realize how often that means you are about to be put out of business.
