Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat.
The Bureau of Land Management is headed by former longtime Reid aide Neil Kornze, who was confirmed by the Senate as BLM director on Tuesday, just as federal authorities descended on the cattle ranch outside Mesquite, Nev.

OK for the record. The Blaze reported that the solar project was canceled. It appears they mistook-it was the LAUGHLIN NV project that was dropped. Not the DRY LAKE/GOLD BUTE area where the Bundy ranch is.
Two different areas-Laughlin is in the most southern part of the state, and yes Clark County. Gold Bute/Dry Lake is northeast of Vegas.
It looks to me that since the Laughlin project was a no go, they tried to get the land around Bundys Ranch to get another project going.

It behooves the Washington Times to print out the history of Reid’s sweetheart deals with the BLM as well as the deals he pushed through for friends. This guy is DRIPPING dirt.

..... COULD LEAVE DIRT? .... Heck .... this whole thing is beginning to look like the honorable Mr. Harry Reid ..... was engaged in possible abuse of power and illegal use of Federal resources for personal gain on this incident. So when we say this could leave dirt on his career ..... it should at the very LEAST .... END his career! We need to be demanding an investigation into this serious corruption and abuse of power. We have run out of time to be portraying the "Mr. Nice Guy" that the GOPes wants us to be. I don't know if anybody has noticed ..... there is the survival of this nation at stake ..... and this is another chink in the armor of our nation's aggressors we need to take advantage of these things.
