The son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Rory Reid, is the primary representative for ENN Energy Group, a Chinese energy company seeking to build a $5 billion solar panel plant on a 9,000-acre Clark County desert plot in Laughlin, Nevada.
ENN scored big when Clark County commissioners unanimously voted to sell the Chinese company the public land for just $4.5 million, despite the fact that it was appraised at $38.6 million.
Sen. Reid has been one of ENN’s biggest supporters, having recruited the company during a 2011 trip to China. According to Reuters, last month Sen. Reid tried to “pressure Nevada's largest power company, NV Energy, to sign up as ENN's first customer.”
Both Rory Reid and Harry Reid deny having ever discussed the $5 billion Chinese solar panel plant deal:
"I have never discussed the project with my father or his staff," said Rory Reid. Kristen Orthman, a spokeswoman for the senator, said he had not discussed the project with his son.
This isn’t the first time the Reids have come under fire for alleged cronyism. In 2003, allegations emerged that Nevada industries frequently lobbied Sen. Reid through his well-connected relatives.

BLM employees should now know that they are fighting on the side of corrupt politicians and the Chinese gov’t controlled companies against American citizens.
Continuing to do so to save their jobs should result in trials. They have no excuses at this point.
The govt is going to go in there and murder lots of people. The media will spin it as the legitimate killing of “antigovernment whackos” a la waco (you won’t hear a peep about harry reid.) and the ignorant american people will buy it.

I live across the river from Laughlin. This deal is dead..dead dead dead and everyone knew Reid was involved.
The truth is all of these things are not necessarily individual, because oil fracking can exist with tortoises and the 9000 acres that were wanted for the solar company is in a different part of Clark County.
However the cattle with the oil fracking does not work, and the solar company that’s already in So Nevada burns birds and kills tortoises, so 1000 degrees may not be good for cows...I guess the BLM is trying to put together what works together for maximum dollar returns to keep Reid happy.
True, my prayer is that Reid and Pelosi go to a nursing home where they are cared for by conservatives, who have lost their insurance due to Obamacare, and both live long miserable lives. How’s that for poetic justice?
They’ve never discussed it. That’s like a kid with chocolate all over his face denying he’s been eating candy. The difference is the kid doesn’t get away with it.
Isn’t fascinating that the BLM bumps it up a notch after Reid’s man is appointed to run the agency.
In all honesty, this is the kind of thing I want to hear Ted Cruz talking about. The corruption of his fellow senators. He would be doing a lot more for his country than talking about immigration. We’ll never be able to do anything about anything until we get rid of the corrupt bastards like Reid.

Senators and congressmen cannot be impeached. However, they can be expelled from their particular House of Congress by a two-thirds vote of that House.

Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins has caused outrage by remarking that Utahns planning to travel to Nevada to support Cliven Bundy in his standoff against the feds “better have funeral plans”.
