Welcome to the Democrat plantation
Pretty much all cities are poverty factories including cities that are doing pretty well overall.
Its nice that there are big players in downtown areas but the little neighborhood businesses have been crushed under the weight of regulation, taxation, and crime.
Regulations and taxes.
Two proven job killers.
The Democrats need the poor to stay in power so they do all they can to make sure you stay poor.
LA may not produce jobs, but it produces lots of Democrat votes. Democrats don’t worry about producing jobs.
The LA area’s demography — poor, young and Mexican — makes it a powder keg. I suspect civil disorder again in the area soon. We’ve had little tastes, like in Anaheim a couple years back.
When Occidental Petroleum announced it was leaving L.A. for Texas, the attitude seemed to be don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
But it goes further than that...much further....when electric car manufacturer Tesla announced that it is building its battery facility in another state that tells you how anti-business the environment is here in the People’s Republic.
Does it produce off the books and untaxed jobs for illegals or were those included so the number of legal jobs have actually dropped?
urbanization = a cancer to society = the power of the democratic party
those who have eyes, let them see!!!
As long as they vote Democrat, it's all good.
democrats are choking businesses with too much government, too many government regulations and too many high taxes.
If they reduce government regulations, laws and taxes then the free market(capitalism) can create business opportunities and jobs
democrats create fake crisis like global warming to justify the existence of government
What’s surprising is that this was reported at all.
Then again with the great weather, it’s gotta be one of the best locations to be “funemployed”

You destroy the social cohesion of any community, anywhere in the world, you severely damage the social & economic health of that community. The nature of that damage, of course, depends on the particular elements interacting; but there is always some damage.
