I’m NOT special but he is and so are ALL of you and our beloved Free Republic, of which we could not do without.
He made it through the night just fine and his surgeon just stopped by and gave me the green light to come home to gather my mail (bills that need to be paid) and he told me again how amazed he was that his colon cancer seems to have gone away. Well, we’re not are we?
Now it seems he’s just so weak and frail and his BP is waning and his poor sweet heart will just stop beating soon. He’s in God’s hands as it should be. His priest will come by today as always and we’ll have a wonderful talk and if it’s time I’ll ask for the Last Rites.
I keep talking to Walt (Dr O) and he answers or squeezes my hand to answer. It’s very sad but also very sweet and I’m doing okay, so please use your prayers for him. I almost blew a stop sign on the way home...lol... good thing for me I noticed a big truck.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and love, and please know they worked and are working!
Our good and merciful Lord and Savior is forever listening and He is watching over all of us and my precious DrO.
