When you and Dr. O married, it was until death that you would part.

You both honored the pledges you made to each other that day.

You were there, and Walt knew it. It was peaceful, and without pain.

Walt still loves you, and our Lord loves you. Now Walt knows what awaits when we pass this earthly plane.

And it is magnificent. Indescribable. Beautiful.

And he will wait for you until you can share it together some day.

Now, you must go on without him. This is when your faith becomes your sight.

You have started your journey well—your description of Walt’s passing tells us that your faith is strong.

Your earthly birthday has become Walt’s heavenly birthday.

Walt did not pass away—he was promoted to Glory. His race has been finished, and he has kept the faith.

The rest of your race awaits you. And with our Lord’s power, you will run it well.

Your Freeper family is bearing you up in prayer. You can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens you.
