Because the NRCC is a RINO organization.
Never give a penny to alphabet GOP groups.
Donate directly to TEA party candidates.

The first thing that has to go is the GOP, a wholly owned subsidiary of the party of the democrat.
Folks if you want to save the Union, you need to get off your butts. As we get closer to Maine’s secession vote on June 12, 2018. People will start to read the advantages of being free. Our biggest problem is the two party system. Big money owns both parties.
Look, we in Maine are going to be free, but what about you and your families? Sure the gates are wide open into Maine now, but the day after the vote, other than to tourist, there will be no immigration into Maine for at least one year.
The GOP is the single biggest enemy the conservative has. The GOP is the biggest enemy to the Republic, not communism, but the GOP.

You’re having the secession vote and beat Texas? Good luck!

The NRCC endorses strong candidates, RINO and conservative both.
I’ve heard a couple NJ freepers say positive things about MacArthur.
Steve Lonegan is a perennial candidate who has repeatedly failed to win higher office. He’s a weak choice for this historically Republican but extremely vulnerable district and everyone besides his fan club realizes this.
MacArthur has my support as well unless someone can prove he’s a “RINO” and no the mere act of daring to run against self-proclaimed tea party darling Steve Lonegan does not automatically make him a RINO.

Read both state Constitutions, remember Texas was conquered during the civil war, Maine on the other hand seceded from Mass to become state.
If you are waiting for Texas to secede, you have a long fruitless wait ahead of you.
But as for Maine, Read the preamble and Article one sections 1&2
CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MAINE
2003 ARRANGEMENT
(Arranged by the Chief Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and approved by the Maine State Legislature,
Resolve 2003, chapter 98, pursuant to the Constitution of Maine, Article X, Section 6)
PREAMBLE.
Objects of government. We the people of Maine, in order to establish justice, insure tranquility, provide for our mutual defense, promote our common welfare, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of liberty, acknowledging with grateful hearts the goodness of the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe in affording us an opportunity, so favorable to the design; and, imploring God's aid and direction in its accomplishment, do agree to form ourselves into a free and independent State, by the style and title of the State of Maine and do ordain and establish the following Constitution for the government of the same.Article I.
Declaration of Rights.
Section 1. Natural rights. All people are born equally free and independent, and have certain natural, inherent and unalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing and protecting property, and of pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.
Section 2. Power inherent in people. All power is inherent in the people; all free governments are founded in their authority and instituted for their benefit; they have therefore an unalienable and indefeasible right to institute government, and to alter, reform, or totally change the same, when their safety and happiness require it.

Lonegan has an enormous war chest. I don’t see him losing in this particular contest, at least in a general election.
To: fieldmarshaldj; BillyBoy
Well lots of people do see him losing it, the guy just isn’t a good candidate.

It’s futile to explain reality. If they haven’t figured out after five straight losses for higher office that voters don’t like their candidate, they’ll never get it. We might as well let Lonegan/Oberweis supporters cling to their “this time will be different” delusion, because after their savior loses, they’ll gear up to run him again in 2016.
(One of Oberweis’ fans who was gung-ho for him in the primary recently got fired from his campaign and now admits he has no chance in the general. Heh.)

They don’t care. They fear the Tea Party gaining critical mass more than they fear losing to democrats. Just look at the lastr couple elections.
They won’t tolerate a TP candidate having a decent chance. They have said so and are forcing a RINO on us in WV.

Except that this time Lonegan is running in a district that he carried less than six months ago against media darling Cory Booker despite being outspent by like 8 to 1.

A Republican getting 44% in statewide election will probably be carrying this district.
He won’t be running against Booker this time. Is the rat candidate for the seat a clown like Booker who will make several gaffes? Booker was a cinch to lose the more Republican areas of the state.
If he’s elected how will he do in 2016 when the rat candidate for President may be carrying the district?
Why risk it with this chump? Knowing him he’ll probably pull an Oberweis and run for the Senate again, or Governor, and lose again.
