Probably would be wise to use at least an anti malware program like MBAM. There are a bunch of good free anti virus programs out there too. Avast is pretty decent, Asquared free is decent, I believe comodo has a free AV program also.

I just loaded Safari. I’m using it now. Seems a little buggy. The “Safari has encountered a problem....” prompt continues to pop up, or another. How can I debug Javascript? Thanks. BTW, I’m using this on my Dell XP.
Since Safari doesn't have a native Linux port nor is source code available, it's a non-starter for me. I only use apps that I can build from source. As much as I hate to say it in light of recent developments, nothing comes close for debugging JavaScript as do the various plugins for Firefox.
My working environment is strictly Unix and its clones: Linux, BSD and Solaris. I've pinged Shadow Ace who might be able to enlist his troops for a solution. Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful but NT, XP, Vista and such are a whole 'nother world to me.

Check your home directory for this file:
~/.mozilla/firefox/profiles.iniThen examine the Path key/value pair in that file. On my system, it looks like this (shrouded of course with 'X' characters):

Concatenate that Path value to form the full directory pathspec, such as:
~/.mozilla/firefox/XXXXXXnxv2.defaultThen, and here's the good news, within that directory you'll find what you seek, a directory named
bookmarkbackupsIt's filled with datestamped JSON files such as these:

Admittedly, my instructions are Unix-centric. Perhaps a kindly soul can translate this into Windows-speak. One thing I do know is that Windows uses the term "folders", for reasons I can't fathom, when the the filesystem objects are actually directories. But, since you're obviously computer savvy since you seek to debug JavaScript code, this ought to be a piece of cake for you.
While I'm on a roll here, let me in a plug in for a nice command-line tool for checking syntax and other common errors in JavaScript source. It's JavaScript Lint, a superb static checker for "picking out the lint" at the source code level. I'll just say that it keeps me humble. :) But after I clean out the lint, my code runs correctly.

I confess, I didn’t read all the posts. I use Opera, an older version and have used it for the last 14 years or so. I’m using version 11.64 because it has features that later versions of Opera have done away with.
I LIKE choosing what happens per web site. That’s something fox doesn’t give me. I can choose to have java disabled everywhere, and still activate it depending on which website I like.
I don’t give a flip where the Mozilla CEO chooses to donate his own personal monies. But I do care about how a browser works. I don’t want my personal ‘’stuff’’ shuffeled back to companies like google, therefore I don’t use their browser. IE has issues of it’s own and has had, for years. But I’m very satisfied with my old version of Opera, and will continue to use it as long as I can.
It was very wrong of the IRS to make tax return info available to the public like that. People really need to sue the piss out of them if possible. It’s just ...wrong unless a person is a government public servant, in which case...nothing should be private.

It’s an interesting theory, but I don’t buy it. I think the Christian explanation of evil is in fact correct, and the attempt would be to try to drive out Satan with Satan. They’d just decline to fight, however illogical it might seem to us.

And since the HTML can detect a browser (and version details), maybe site owners should insert a page with a disclaimer, "I notice you are still using Firefox. Recently Mozilla terminated their CEO because of thoughtcrimes in regards to donating to a successful political referendum. Who knows what thoughts and activities they will disallow in the future? Already knew about the gay dude, but this issue isn’t the same. Apple guy is gay. Mozilla basically fired a conservative for reasons unrelated to his job. Do you see the difference?
