WBCN was Boston’s FM Album Oriented station. My favorite all through the late 60’s and 70’s.
I actually got airplay on WBCN during the Gulf War of a very funny parody about Saddam. Bush 41 wrote me a letter saying he enjoyed the song too.
Those were the days!

If you signed with Levy, you never saw your money, but you could do pretty much what you wanted. Tommy James was trying a lot of experimental stuff in this era.
