Joni Ernst, a Republican candidate in the GOP Senate primary in Iowa, is touting her experience “castrating hogs on an Iowa farm” to underscore how emphatic she will be about ending pork barrel spending in the U.S. Senate.
“I'm Joni Ernst. I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm. So when I get to Washington, I'll know how to cut pork,” Ernst says in the ad, followed by the sound of a pig squealing.
The ad, which was provided exclusively to Breitbart News, will appear in television spots in Iowa. Ernst ends the ad saying, “Washington's full of big spenders. Let's make them squeal.”

As previously reported at Breitbart, Ernst is one of several conservative candidates who are running against a wealthy businessman with a strikingly liberal record.

Nonsense. Ernst was an early backer of Mitt Romney in 2007 and 2011, not something a conservative would do.
No, I am not going to watch it. But I am curious. Why do they castrate them, and why use the teeth and not a knife.
Her hair is like that because she is a Commander in the Iowa National Guard. She was stationed in the Iraq theater before she became a state senator and is still in active service.
She can also put one between your eyes at 400 yards too.

I have met her personally, she’s from very conservative SW Iowa. She came across as the real deal to me.
Now, keep in mind that she replaced now Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds in the state senate seat. As such, she does have some endorsements from the so-called Establishment that are friends of Gov. Branstad. IMO the real Establishment candidate is Mark Jacobs however.
Bottom line is, whenever I’ve heard her she has been no apologies conservative, despite the endorsements, which are more due to being in the right (or wrong) place at the right time than her ideology.
