Interesting analysis. The queering of the forces, especially the Army and navy is going to lead to the emergence of a 'gay' phenomenon that is taboo to talk about; wolfpacking. Whereby cliques of violent queers subvert discipline and order by terrorizing other enlisted personnel through violent physical intimidation and sexual assault . So the barracks of Army and the crew spaces of the navy will become akin to America's prisons, ruled by violent queers by the threat of homosexual rape. The Marines are going to be under enormous pressure to dismantle much of their unique esprit de corps to accommodate the queer culture.

Don’t ask don’t tell.... Not any more. If a soldier looks at another soldier in the shower with a twinkle in his eye, it’s sexual assault.

The military was never intended to be a social experiment. As a retired Captain friend of mine once said...”What worked best was when gays weren’t allowed”.

This doesn’t pass the sniff test.

The wolfpacking hypothesis doesn’t either.

This smells like an accounting issue.

If one dude punches another in the nose, is this counted as a sexual assault?

Are effeminate guys and gay guys being physically assaulted? Sexually assaulted?

If one dude kicks another dude in the balls, is this a sexual assault?

Stunning. Could this be related to the increase in military suicides?

a list of 45 goals... Communist... etc.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

I thought “male on male” was a good thing.

And now they’re complaining...go figure.

They’re going from citizen soldiers to professional “warriors”. From Alvin York to Ernst Rohm.

The military is the primordial soup in which sexual assaults can take hold, multiply, and evolve. The structure of military life ensures that those inclined will be more likely to act on their inclinations in the military. The lack of women in the ranks and the prohibition against homosexual behavior kept this behavior in check for years, but no more.

The political busybodies will be more than happy to interfere where assault of females occurs, but they will be noticeably quiet about homosexual conduct, both male and female.

Inevitable; the military is nothing less than a mirror of the society that populates it and we know the extent violent depravity permeates the society.

Of those sexual assaults, 53 percent (approximately 14,000 in 2012) were attacks on men.

Good God, it sounds like what happens in prison. Please, fellow FReepers.. if you have young people in your families, DON'T recommend military service to them...not now.

Trying to sexually assault a heavily armed man cannot end well.

“A report released by the U.S. Department of Defense says that an astounding 12,000 women serving in the U.S. military were sexually assaulted in 2012.”

I bet that number includes harassment, discrimination, etc in addition to assault. Thats how they pad the numbers.

The next President, if he is serious (and not a RINO) will do the following

- sieze on these figures in a PR campaign
- find a particularly brutal or disgusting attack, and make an example of a high-ranking officer who should have handled it differently.
- find some particularly pathetic victims willing to go public about it
- After all this - create a commission which will again separate the sexes and ban declared homosexual orientation in the military.

Its the same playbook the left uses to “sell change” in this country.

“There is a raging epidemic of sexual assault in the U.S. military. A report released by the U.S. Department of Defense says that an astounding 12,000 women serving in the U.S. military were sexually assaulted in 2012. This is a national disgrace, and any U.S. service member that rapes a woman deserves the death penalty in my opinion.”

You see this is how “the Game” is played by progressives. First THEY define the term “sexual assault” making it as broad as possible and encompassing all manner of actions.

Then they run studies to count “how many” of these “sexual assaults happen”

The final step is to release the studies and then blurr the distinction between “sexual assault” (broadly defined) and the worst possible type, Rape.

They then use this to take command authority away from the unit commander.

I’ve never heard that term before but noticed the phenomenon in a college paper back in the day. Sparta, Thebes, Macedonia, Rome depending on the emperor, Prussia briefly, the First Empire, Turkey on and off, various Nazi circles and during the final Soviet decline.

It eroded military capacity in most but not all cases. More ominously it appears to have -always- signaled a detachment from and contempt for the people and culture who supported that military.

This will only get worse. We have reached a point of no return IMO, until eventual collapse and a new polity arises.

In case anyone is wondering, during WW II I was in an infantry unit and the number of rape incidents were zero. I wonder what was different and could it get replicated? Oh never mind, now I remember - there were no women in our outfit drinking with us.
