The military is the primordial soup in which sexual assaults can take hold, multiply, and evolve. The structure of military life ensures that those inclined will be more likely to act on their inclinations in the military. The lack of women in the ranks and the prohibition against homosexual behavior kept this behavior in check for years, but no more.
The political busybodies will be more than happy to interfere where assault of females occurs, but they will be noticeably quiet about homosexual conduct, both male and female.
Notice they didn’t include FEMALE on MALE attacks.
Guess the ‘Queer Movement’ for the Military will sort of follow along the lines of when the Blacks took over city Governments and Police Departments...Even TV didn’t mind having Black characters tell their White Counterparts that “it is our turn now, get over it” (Andre Braugher on Homicide) and a White Cop on one of the Law and Order(s)—when he disgustingly said something about a ‘minority’ and another - Black - Cop said something along the lines of ‘That Dude don’t realize who the minority is in this city’.
When the poster mentions the ‘Wolfpacks of Queers’ roaming about I guess they will be looking for reparations.
I realize ‘they’ were in during my time BUT for the most part they kept to themselves and stayed ‘in the closet’. When one did get roaming hands they would get written up and usually fall up the ladders on the way to a ‘forced shower’ - Thieves got the same treatment - When at mast if questioned about the bruises on the face of the ‘accused’ a simple “Sir! We saw him fall UP a ladder” and that would be the end of that. FOR US.
The Fag and thief would end up in the Brig - run by Marines - and they would ‘pay dearly for their sins’ usually followed by a boot and at best a BCD. Even by the time I got out, the penalty was easing, they were starting to give ‘them’ General Discharges based on Unfitness- And it has gone downhill from there.
Like the ‘Old Boatswains Mate said. When I came in back in the 50’s, being Queer was disallowed and frowned upon. In the 70’s it became ‘live and let live’. I am getting out before being Queer becomes mandatory’.
