Israel has tightened security in its airspace following the disappearance and possible hijacking of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 on March 8, Channel 2 reported Sunday.
According to the report, security officials and aviation authorities recently held a security assessment and decided upon a series of security measures intended to enhance safety in Israeli airspace.
Among the measures, airliners are now required to identify themselves much earlier when approaching Israels airspace. Other actions were not disclosed at this time.
The increased security came as El Als former global security chief told The Times of Israel he believes that the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight points directly to Iran.

PING
Would be a bad time if a pilot forgets or sends a wrong IFF code.
Bless those people or their souls, whichever is more appropriate. Thank you God.
By this annoumcement the Israeli’s who are playing it safe seem to think the aircraft was headed for a landing strip not for dumping in the Ocean. Where it could be refitted and most importantly refueled. A lot of logistics involved and pre-planning. Including the use of communications which could have been monitored where there are “the usual suspects”.
Kinda begs as to just how a stolen jumbo jet can spoof itself into Israeli airspace, by repainting as FedEx? UPS?
A US AWACS?
By flying from a nearby location and following VERY closely behind another jet? In a blind spot?
Or not even flying to land in Israel, it only has to be high enough to make a sudden abrupt course and altitude change and with some hastily attached countermeasures such as chaffe and flares could plummet from 40,000 feet at over the speed of sound just to get within an effective airburst range of a large nuke its carrying.
A very reasonable precaution. Exactly what I would expect from Israel.
First thing I would do is to check for any backdoor program access to the auto pilot programs, then to install a shunt that can disable the computer if its compromised. I hope also that in the US they provide the Air Marshals with a sizable pressurized oxygen supply, otherwise he would be knocked out as well.
I can’t help but think Iran is involved somehow. Maybe the Iranians with the stolen passports were helping one of the pilots? Something tells me that the US knows more than its letting on. Maybe it won’t spill it so Obama can continue his victory lap on his agreement with Iran. I wouldn’t put it past Obama to help Iran attack Israel, maybe with an EMP device.
The bad guys are also disposing of all the bodies, ripping out the seats and interior fittings. Inside, they will either put a Pakistani nuclear weapon - or if one is not available, pack the aircraft full of high explosives, chemical weapons and dirty nuclear materials.
Then they will set off towards the west, escorted by a rogue fighter pilot in a stolen fighter jet - or perhaps with a nod and wink from the Pakistani military.
They will fly in from the east, under the radar as they are so good at doing. They will tail, say, an Air France flight from Asia into Europe. When it is over a body of water, the fighter jet will swoop up and shoot down the Air France flight. The stolen 777, packed with explosives or whatever, will take its place and set its transponder and information to match.
When it approaches, it will identify itself as the plane that was destroyed. Even if someone is suspicious, a visual inspection will show it to be painted in the colors of Air France.
Nobody will shoot it down.
It will then do something that makes 9/11 look like child's play.
FWIW - Air France flies 777s from Singapore to Israel. I would keep my eye on every flight.
Whatever you do, don’t fly a 777 into Europe from Asia until they find this thing!
I am worried about this, as so many think this jet is feeding the fish - when it is obviously not.
This is a crack paramilitary operation and thus far, they have outsmarted the USA, Chinese, Malays and 20-something other nations.
They could just try the brute force option, send as many fighter aircraft as a “shield” with pilots who are given orders to humanly intercept any ground or air launched missiles.
Kinda reminds me of the big battle scene from Enders Game.
Or drone aircraft, but these planes ARE broadcasting the transponder code of a 777, Israeli radar then shoots its missiles at the drones instead. The 777 is in full radio and electronics silence, and who knows may have a rudimentary crude spray coating to diffuse radar.
I remember the old Ford Tri Motors with the corrugated skin played havoc with radar.
A couple days or weeks back the terrorist chatter was March 24, 2014 something big was going to happen in the world that would stir up significant problems. the stupid shittite muslims believe the Al Mahdi will return - chaos, confusion and significant bloodshed of the sworn enemies (infidels) of Muslims worldwide.
There has to be intelligence out there that knows something..and the press is just doing the mindless same stuff over and over.
Btw there were no pilots on the forums, none, that believed this jet was in the water somewhere.
One of the crazies in Iran said recently that the hand is on the trigger now for the destruction of Israel. This dovetails with what you’re saying.
The Hajj sites are also vulnerable as are the oilfields of the Eastern Provence of Saudi Arabia.
The mullahs covet the holy sites in Mecca currently controlled by the House od Saud.
Yep. Exactly.
March 24th?
Who will be where then, is Putin or Obama heading some place at that date?
Some big event where thousands will be congregating, a sports event?

That answers your question, I would hope. Take a look at the list of attendees.
Interesting, very interesting.
