Assembly member Claudia Tenney said Wednesday she may challenge U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna in a GOP primary, but quickly toned down the talk after sharply criticizing him on a radio interview here.
Im doing my due diligence and I will be coming out with a decision in a few days, she said in a brief interview during a break in the Assembly session. She declined further comment.
But speaking on an Albany radio station one hour earlier, Tenney, R-101, sounded like a candidate and was sharply critical of Hanna, a Barneveld business owner who is seeking a third term representing the 22nd House District. The district includes all of Chenango, Cortland, Madison, and Oneida counties, and parts of Broome, Herkimer, Oswego, and Tioga counties.
She said supporters are already circulating nominating petitions to get her on the primary ballot.

If there are any Freepers who live in this district, get ready to pass out Tenney lawn signs. We need to win this one.
She’s hot, to boot!
“Shes hot, to boot!”
She is attractive as well as conservative.
An interesting tidbit- her father was a member of the state Supreme Court. If Tenney runs, I hope upstate New York Freepers make her election a top priority.
Her father was a regular old trial judge. In NY the “Supreme Court” is the trial level of the court system, most other states would use the term “superior court”. Next comes the “Supreme Court-Appellate Division” and then the equivalent of the Supreme Court of other states is called “The Court of Appeals”.
I’ve watched a lot of “Law and Order”.

I’ve watched a lot of “Law & Order” myself, interesting point.
Will Claudia run? We’ll just have to wait until that announcement is broadcast. My idea is of a happy ending here is Richard Hanna going back home and Claudia Tenney taking over the reigns of office. It’s a risk I’m willing to take and I’m one of the more risk-averse Freepers.
“Claudia Tenney taking over the reigns of office”
It’s been more than a few days since she said she’d make a decision in “a few days”.
It’s being reported that she is going to run, announcement soon.
off to Utica goes the national press.
Nothing will ever recreate the urgency of Tedisco vs Murphy and Hoffman vs Owens in 2009
Run Tenney Run

Thank you, I’ll post it.
