This plane would be located in a heartbeat if an IRS audit were ordered on the American IBM exec.

My folks told me the story of the disappearance of Judge Crater when I was into Sherlock Holmes in the 50s. After reading a little bit about it, I decided that Crater crossed Tammany Hall and paid for it. However, it kept me going for months. Amelia Earhart was the missing plane mystery. Then there was/is Jimmy Hoffa.

This missing airliner beats them all thus far in strangeness. My speculation well has gone dry.

Here is what is key to me. The pilot on Shep's program said the 'pings' stop once the landing gear goes down. The pings went on for four hours. The plane had six hours of fuel.

Therefore, the plane did not fly until it ran out of fuel, aka Payne Stewart. It either crashed or landed after hour four.

Sounds like a Tom Clancy Novel.
Terrorists steal a plane, pack it with a NBC weapon or a EMP type and flies it over a US City, Maybe New York or DC.
The only thing is that in a Clancy Novel, the CIA is on the ball.
