While the Obama Justice Department mounts a legal challenge against Florida for purging ineligible voters from its rolls, a television news station broadcasts an unbelievable segment that proves non U.S. citizens living in the Sunshine State vote regularly in elections.
The investigative piece was aired this week by an NBC affiliate in southwest Florida that actually tracked down and interviewed non U.S. citizens who are registered to vote and have cast ballots in numerous elections. The segment focused on Lee County, which has a population of about 620,000 and Collier County with a population of around 322,000. The reporter spent about two months digging around the voter rolls in the two counties and the discoveries are dumbfounding.
In that short time, more than 100 people registered to vote in those two areas were proven to be ineligible by the reporter. A Cape Coral woman, eligible to vote in elections, was tracked down through jury excusal forms that verify shes not a U.S. citizen. A Naples woman, who is not a U.S. citizen either, voted six times in 11 years without being detected by authorities. A Jamaican man is also registered to vote though hes not eligible. The reporter obtained his 2007 voter registration form, which shows the Jamaican man claims to be a U.S. citizen. Problem is, no one bothers checking to see if applicants are being truthful.
Incredibly, election supervisors confirmed on camera that theres no way for them to verify the citizenship of people who register to vote. The only way to detect fraud is if the county offices that oversee elections receive a tip, they say, and only then can they follow up. As inconceivable as this may seem, it appears to be true. Election supervisors in counties across the United States have their hands tied when it comes to this sort of voter registration fraud. They neither have the resources nor the authority to take action without knowledge of specific wrongdoing.
In an effort to remedy the situation, Florida Governor Rick Scott launched a program a few years ago to purge ineligible voters from registration rolls. The Department of Justice (DOJ) was quick to sue the state to stop the purging because the agency claims it discriminates against minorities. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has colluded with the DOJ in Florida and the head of the groups local chapter says purging voter rolls disproportionately affects the states most vulnerable groups , namely minorities.
Judicial Watch has been a leader in investigating voter fraud and in 2012 launched a special Election Integrity Project . As part of the initiative JW has examined publicly available data that indicates that voter rolls in a number of statesincluding Florida, Mississippi, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Texas, California, Colorado and Ohiocontain the names of individuals who are ineligible to vote. The JW investigation has showed that there appear to be more individuals on voter registration lists in these states than there are individuals eligible to vote, including dead people.
We know exactly why Allen West lost. FRAUD
And when the liberal courts start siding with DOJ, I think I heard Holder say that State Attorney Generals can ignore laws.
It is so funny that each party blames the other. I have heard so many times that Republicans steal elections and I have heard so many times that Democrats steal elections. With all this stealing going on, no wonder we can’t get anything done.
6,100 dead people on Nassau voter rolls, Newsday analysis finds.
Evelyn E. Burwell’s family was surprised to learn she voted in the 2012 general and primary elections. They knew she was an avid voter, but she’s been dead since 1997.
Burwell is one of about 6,100 deceased people still registered to vote in Nassau County, a Newsday computer analysis shows. The former Wantagh resident, who died at age 74, is also among roughly 270 people that records show voted in Nassau County after dying, a group that includes a man who voted 14 times since his death.
You heard right. It comes down to the rule of law and we have a president and AG that laugh at the rule of law and do just what they want to do.
Of course we have a Congress and Judicial branch that have pretty much gone along with these criminals so blame can be put on most all of them.
Holder should be arrested and prosecuted for abetting voter fraud because of these lawsuits the DOJ is bringing against the states.
So now the ‘justice’ department is actively promoting lawbreaking.
Go ahead and purge. It’s easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
“the head of the groups local chapter says purging voter rolls disproportionately affects the states most vulnerable groups , namely minorities.”
And that minority would be illegal voters!
The State of Florida issues death certificates, as do other states presumably. Why can’t these records be compared with voter rolls to purge the ineligible ones? This is not rocket science. When I show up at my polling place, I’m asked for a photo ID. That does not seem racist to me.
It only takes one person voting illegally to disenfranchise me.
Exactly...Illegal alien activists admit there’s 11 million illegals in the country and we know it’s probably 2 to 3 times that number.
It doesn’t take a PHD in math to figure out illegals are a definite factor in elections, especially is some states.
The Democrats have always counted on the media ignoring the issue and giving them coverage. The more these stories come out, the worse it will be for the Dems.
I can’t tell you how many people (of color) described voting three times. Once in early voting, then absentee, then on election day.
“Go ahead and purge. Its easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.”
DING DING DING!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!
At an early voting center in Ft. Lauderdale there was literally NO white people.
Can’t be purging the rolls of those ineligible to vote or the dead will be disenfranchised!
Get ready for it all over after what happened in FL last night.
If someone doesn’t stop this practice of States reporting to the Feds we may as well burn the scraps of the Constitution we have left because we lose. Balance of power is already tilted, will soon be gone if our leaders don’t step up and put a stop to it..
