I worked for President Reagan and of the two, Ted Cruz is much closer. Sorry.

The leftist media and Karl Rove types are popping the popcorn over this crap. Levin or Palin needs to call both Cruz and Paul to the table and have them bury the hatchet, NOW.

I don't mind healthy infighting, as we conservatives are not sheep who will blindly vote for Republicans like Dem supporters do. But 2016 is way off and we need to keep the focus on Obama and his communist policies.

I lean toward Cruz, but this isn’t a rip. The media is trying to frame things with headlines. They want to start a conservative fight. If you are pulled in please pick up your “Stooge Button.

Rand Paul RIPS Ted Cruz: Sometimes People Think They’re The Next Ronald Reagan

I fail to see a problem.....
Actually the problem is NOT wanting to be the next Ronald Maxi-mus.. (OR better)..

Some Freepers seem to admire Rand Paul. Frankly, he resembles his crazy father more and more every day. Maybe he’s been puffing too much pot or something.

Guess this spoils the speculation of a Cruz/Paul ticket.......

Randy's one of those who fights harder against fellow Republicans then he does against Democrats.

It's like he's a member of the Republican wing of the Democrat party.

Better to aspire to be the next Ronald Reagan than the next Ron Paul.

Headline writers. I read this to see this for myself, but I missed the ripping part.

We always have been good friends. I'm not real excited about him mischaracterizing my views and, you know, I won't let that pass.

So, what's inappropriate is for people -- particularly other Republicans -- to mischaracterize, or attempt to characterize my foreign policy as something it isn't.

They're more than welcome to have their own, but they need to be a little wary of trying to mischaracterize mine.

Reagan was big on was the 11th commandment. Our party gets bigger if we try to include more people in it and not be so divisive.

In all but the last quote (most quit thinking when the word "Reagan" is said), I say the same things arguing with family. Personally, I'd like to see both stay in the Senate and fix that place.

The GOP are doing everything they can to throw the election the dems.

I have a funny feeling the dems will own the house next year

I don’t much care for Rand Paul, and primarily it IS because IMO he doesn’t fall that far from the tree.

I lack trust in his word.

Cruz is a smarter politician, but I appreciate Paul’s concern about being differentiated from Reagan. Of course Paul didn’t help himself with his “stuck in the cold war” reference.

They’re both getting air time which I think is good.

Hannity was stoking the fires between Paul and Cruz, on his show last night. No need to do that!
