One of the two men who boarded the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 with a stolen passport has been identified by police.
Investigators from Malaysia and the United States have been examining closed-circuit television feeds from Kuala Lumpur airport and biometric data on the two stolen passports in an attempt to understand whether the men were trying to enter Europe illegally, or whether they had more sinister motives.
Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, the head of Malaysia's Department of Civil Aviation, said the causes of the disappearance remained an "unprecedented mystery".
He said he could not reveal the nationalities of the men travelling on stolen passports, but that they were "not Asian-looking".
"We have looked at the footage of the video and the photographs – it is confirmed now that they are not Asian-looking males," he said. "Do you know what he [Mario Balotelli] looks like?" he asked reporters.

Maybe they just hijacked the plane, turned off the ident and took it down below radar and landed somewhere. Apparently 15-17 cell phones are still ringing. That is very strange.
That's actually Ian Fleming. With a bit of updating, he just described the plot of the Bond movie: Thunderball.
It was subsequently remade as Never Say Never Again.
And somewhere, as we speak, someone is stroking his cat...
Because he is doing quite well as a script writer.

Not all Orientals are Asians. To the Romans, the Orient was the area east of Illyricum and Dalmatia, present-day Croatia and Bosnia and included Greece and Egypt.
I consider Asians to be those from or with roots in Asia, be they from Beirut, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur or Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii.

since both pilots were muslim, I wonder if that is why there was ‘no word’ on what happened and the plane landed elsewhere. Seems ‘someone’ would know that but....seems someone should know if it plummeted into the sea as well.
