One of the two men who boarded the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 with a stolen passport has been identified by police.
Investigators from Malaysia and the United States have been examining closed-circuit television feeds from Kuala Lumpur airport and biometric data on the two stolen passports in an attempt to understand whether the men were trying to enter Europe illegally, or whether they had more sinister motives.
Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, the head of Malaysia's Department of Civil Aviation, said the causes of the disappearance remained an "unprecedented mystery".
He said he could not reveal the nationalities of the men travelling on stolen passports, but that they were "not Asian-looking".
"We have looked at the footage of the video and the photographs it is confirmed now that they are not Asian-looking males," he said. "Do you know what he [Mario Balotelli] looks like?" he asked reporters.

We can't tell you that they were brown-skinned Middle-Easterners wearing white bed sheets and boarding the aircraft with their pet goats because that would be 'profiling' and that would be a no-no.

Maybe they had accomplices working at security.

Any airport employees not show up for work today? Other than the ones lost in the aircraft, of course..

Not Asian-looking In other words, he doesn't look like a Turk, an Israeli, an Arab, an Iranian, an Armenian, a Russian, an Afghan, a Tatar, a Mongol, a Punjabi, a Gujarati, a Tamil, a Sinhalese, a Bengali, a Vietnamese, a Laotian, a Thai, a Malay, a Burmese, a Han Chinese, a Uighur, a Manchu, a Japanese, a Yakut, etc.

Is it possible that the plane could still be intact—perhaps hijacked and flown to a terrorist base in northern Pakistan?

I think it was hijacked and went down in the jungles of Viet Nam somewhere.

My guess and speculation,
A workplace hazard for the martyrs - premature detonation- that took out 225 innocents.
Had they made it to their destination, the losses would have been far greater.

“Had they made it to their destination, the losses would have been far greater.”
2-4 Europe-bound wide-bodies out of China was the likely target, I believe.

I think it was hijacked and went down in the jungles of Viet Nam somewhere. I'm thinking it may have been hijacked with the intention of doing a 911 type attack somewhere in the world where they would have to fly off-course to get there but either blew up (due to passengers not cooperating) or crashed hijacker-pilot error somewhere in another area such as the Indian Ocean or South Pacific. All speculation of course.
I doubt it went down in Vietnam or anywhere else over land. Villagers would have heard or seen something.

The AC was hijacked and the new pilots disengaged all the auto alert mechanisms, steep dive to 100 feet and vectored east. Fentanyl gas was injected into the cabin air. All cellphones collected and put in lead-lined bag to cancel their signals. The pilots did a water landing in 50 feet of water off the coast and the plane settled to the floor. Whatever was in the cargo section was removed by under water team waiting in the vicinity.
The loot was spirited off in the DiscoVolante hydrofoil.

Malaysia was part of the British Empire; therefore, I assume he was using the term “Asian” the way they do in Britain. Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean people would be called “Oriental”.

This situation reminds me of the Jihad Falcon plot that Adam Gadahn was taunting authorities with a couple of years after 9/11.

I want to emphasise that my previous post was just an assumption. You could certainly be right — and in a “Venn-diagram” sense you are certainly right (all Orientals are Asian, not all Asians are Oriental). My post was just a reminder that not every English speaker speaks American English. While “Oriental” has somehow gotten tinged with “political incorrectness” in N. America; they have no such hangups about the term in Britain (and other parts of the Commonwealth).
I think the spokesman was mainly trying to say: “the perps don't look like they came from here”.

Wow. Quite a detailed scenario. At this point, it’s hard to rule anything out.
