The latest round of speculation about the 2016 presidential race stars former Florida Governor Jeb Bush whose Republican nomination could potentially lead to a matchup between two powerhouse political families. Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton holds a double-digit lead over Bush in a hypothetical matchup, but half of voters are less likely to vote for Bush because of his familys history in the White House.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that if the 2016 presidential election were held today, 47% of Likely U.S. Voters would choose Clinton, while 33% would opt for Bush. Fourteen percent (14%) prefer some other candidate, while six percent (6%) are undecided.

I'm so confident that they'd rather have hillary be president than have a TedCruz/RandPaul ticket.
It will be useful to actually hear from the candidates who will eventually run prior to finding out what voters think about them.
Those “Repatriate to Belize” people could not have a better advertisement.
I weep for my country...
I really doubt that the Dems are going to run Hillary, when it comes right down to it.
ANd while these hypothetical polls are worthless, it was interesting to see that even this was manipulated. There was actually only one point difference between Hillary and Bush in the raw numbers, and only when they added the question about the “Bush family history” did Hillary get higher numbers.
In other words, they’re going to play on Bush Derangement Syndrome again, among both Dems and Republicans. Never mind the horrible history of the Clinton family...I guess that doesn’t count. It was just Bill being Bill, and as for Hillary’s miserable tenure as SOS, well, what’s a girl to do?
Agreed.
She is an extremely unpleasant person who I cannot imagine is truly liked by anyone.
He could sell sandals to Eskimos.
But if too many people move to Belize, it could break off from the rest of the continent and then tip over and sink...
Welcome to the Roman Republic circa 50 BC, when you had to belong to one of a handful of Patrcian families to hope to be elected Consul.
No problem - the MSM will make one up for her.
Otherwise Hillary will run as a woman. Along with the good old reliables - welfare parasites, public employees, union members and of course the perennially offended - that should be enough to get 51% of the vote.
If these are the only candidates running, who cares? For the third straight presidential election, we will have two candidates who agree on almost everything.
Why even bother? Let’s just elect our own candidate and set up a government in opposition.
Any polls of her against Cruz? He’s the man!
LOL!
stay out da bushes!
ME TOO!!!
Naw, America's got a lot more stamina than you give it credit for. imho it's the rest of the world that's in trouble. Got to remember that after four terms of FDR we ended up with the the worst crime and unemployment ever capped with a war that left Europe in ashes and Asia radioactive. That's when we just came to our senses and prospered.
Two Bush’s was enough. Do we really want/need to be subjected to a third? For once, I agree with Jesse Jackson, “Stay out the Bushes!!!!”
I read that Bernie Sanders is going to run. He’s the most overt extreme leftist of any of our elected officials, and if he runs, I bet Hillary won’t have a chance. The Hillary voters crave hard-core Socialism, and while she might incline to it philosophically, she doesn’t have the personal or political clout to carry it off. Bernie, on the other hand, doesn’t even pretend to be rational, and I think Dem voters are going to flock to him. All he has to do is call for transforming Obamacare into complete government-paid “health care” and he’s in.
He’s an independent, but I think the Dems will get behind him. Hillary is really yesterday, and I suspect they’re all wondering who’s going to be the one to tell her this.
At least one person abroad thinks there is still one person in America who will defend the West.
As somebody who was formerly notable once said....
America, stay OUT da BUSHES!
The GOPe has run two “moderate Republican” losers in a row. Nominating a third, whether Jeb or Christie, should kill the party. That would make the Democrats happy, though.
