In one of the most bizarre stories we've yet heard, a North Carolina woman used her fluency in Spanish and fraudulent immigration documents to convince others that she was a Mexican national -- so she could defraud dozens of people out of tens of thousands of dollars.
Sherry Stanley Jimenez, 39, of Greensboro -- a U.S. citizen -- was able to change identities, addresses, and obtain employment for many years avoiding detection and arrest -- very similar to what millions of actual illegal aliens do every year across the nation.

I've tried to mention this a few times over the years, these are not like normal people, they do things that we, our grandparents, our ancestors, wouldn't do, and wouldn't even know how to do.
I want to live in Switzerland but I could never adopt and live a life of forged documents and false identities and living like some character in a movie about international criminals, but these people are natural with it, and no one blinks an eye, or even thinks about how easy and casual these people are with crime.

Yep...he had a caller who said he wanted to learn Spanish, get an ITIN and fresh credit, and "start over". That is the sick fantasy that arises in the face of Federal lawlessness.
She can claim she was running her own investigation just like Congresspeople do when they’re caught in flagrante delicto. It usually works for democrats.

I first learned that I had not filed my income tax return for eleven years the same way you did: I read about it in the morning paper.My first reaction was shock. Then... disbelief. Finally, as I read further, disbelief turned to anger, and outrage.
I immediately called my chief of staff, even though it was only 10:30 in the morning. I'm afraid I lost my temper with him... frankly, I raised the roof. I may have used some language that one does not usually employ in polite company.
"What is the meaning of this?" I demanded.
I commanded him to undertake an immediate investigation. I demanded that he put together a complete report - covering all the facts - to be on my desk by the close of business this Friday.
Let me just say that I am outraged - absolutely outraged - that the letter of the law has not been adhered to by those in my employ. The citizens of my state have a right to know - a right to be sure - that their representatives in Congress are obeying the law, just like everyone else. And I mean to make sure that this is the case, without exception.
The Laws of Our Country are not to be trifled with, and the very Foundations of Democracy are threatened if it should ever come to pass that ordinary citizens lose faith in the evenhanded justice of The Government.
And I shall say to you now that I shall not rest, shall not tarry, shall not be distracted, or waylaid, or diverted... from undertaking a full investigation into every particular of this case.
The investigation will be thorough, it will be painstaking, it will be exacting, it will be unblinking, it will be unyielding, it will be tireless, it will be remorseless, it will be merciless... and it will discover the truth.
You will, of course, understand, that - as there is now an internal investigation underway - I will have to be very careful in making any remarks that could interfere or prejudice in any way the conduct of that investigation.
I would simply ask that we all remain calm, and wait for the full facts to come out as our investigation runs its course.
